It's time for you to change lol....breakaway from your comfort zone, driving a japanese car, especially toyota. It doesnt mean that toyota is not good. It's just overpriced for a basic car.

Scratch resistance? Did you remove the existing one and replace with this one?

Anyone had done the 1000k service? I need to ask for a free wheel alignment. The front wheels tend to pull on left side a bit at times.

Used to have toyota, now on Honda, quite impressed with the new Hyundai models (esp santa fe and tucson), hoping that Komocco will bring in the 1.6 Turbo models, though I think the the 2.0 is more than adequate in powering the vehicle

The car is heavy, kerb weight is 1.5T. So need a lot of fuel to get going initially. However, once it hits the momentum, the FC drops drastically. The 1.6Turbo version probably could resolve this issue over the 2.0 in terms of FC efficiency.

Its made of aluminium type don't think scratch resistant just protect only, same like the side doors scuff plate cover on top of the existing one, good for sliding heavy items. Price abt $25 in taobao.

Tucson drastically lighter than Sonata.

Paiseh... remember wrongly... about the same or 5 kg lighter... why this point stick in my head is cos the Tucson has a much shorter wheelbase... yet weigh the same...

I don't think 1.6T can reduce FC drastically as Turbo need a level of RPM to kick start, unless u do drag racing in traffic light.  [laugh]

Diesel engine is the best fuel efficient for heavy vehicle due to high torque characteristic during pick up.

Initially thinking of CRDi but road tax too high and don't like the taxi sound.  [:p]

Agreed. Not sure why LTA still have the pollution mindset with Euro 5 and above diesel. In fact, it's much cleaner and cheaper.

My SR also doesn't have, really admire the NA version has 19" with twin exhaust, no clue for original aftermarket can easily found in ebay or tb. From what I see need to change rear bumper in order to fit.
