You gotten the premium version? Think only premium version come with Sony HU. Base version dunno use what HU. How come different SE sell different insurance sia. My HE only offer ntuc and when I say I check Msig cheaper he say I can get from Msig then.

Yes, but komo name as sunroof..

To be frank I chosen S/R mainly because of the electro seat & parking brake, these cannot be upgrade or change, unlike HU or leather seats etc most ws can install anything u want just like Harrier/Vezel.

I din know got ntuc, must go ask, I got loyalty discount.

No leather seats?

Mine will be getting S/R got leather seats but not factory fitted. See the list I posted.

-If loan is taken, you have to take the insurance dictated by them and in my case is AXA, $1200

with 50 % NCD.

-The base model has 2 airbags.

-The fuel consumption has improve to 9.2 litres/100 km ( from 10 earlier )

-Driven it for 350 km so far and found it to be extremely quiet with no cabin noice

Can only hear slight tyre noice on highways. The comfort level is high due to motorised

adjustment to lumbar support.

Sometimes forgot that engine was on , while trying to get out ......lol

Got many items from ebaykorea from kmotors ( window visor, door hinge covers, full-car carbon

fibre decal, 4 door lower protection covers.) Most item usd 30-50. Think can support kmotors.

Really seems that different SE offer different insurance. I did take a loan with them as well. Can share what are the freebies provided? Mine as below

1. Front camera

2. 3A mat

3. Solar flim

4. 2k car trade in rebate

5. 1k loyalty discount being a Hyundai owner currently

My SE assure that base model come with leather seats as well. Both S/R and base model seems to be local fitted. Although specs for base model indicated 2 air bag, my SE mention the last shipment he delivered come with 6. Even the base model that they have in the show room come with 6. However this is something he cannot assure me but he did say Hyundai normally deliver car with more specs than listed.

Saddest part of the base model is that it doesn't even have a electronic tail gate which I thought is 1 of those useful features

I think Komoco Motors has agreements with some of the major insurance players in Singapore. Cos when I paid up for my Sonata, my SE mentioned that NTUC is the cheapest for me. So I am quoted $940 which I happily accept lar... but after they check my record, might go up a bit cos got some accident in the last three years.

I believe that you can source for your own insurance too, may be cheaper too, since the dealer does not require you to take up their in-house insurance offerings, that is my understanding from what my SE told me.

Yes don't need to take up from them. But my current situation is cos I only have 30% NCD cos of some stupidest accident which I was deemed to have caused but I was not involved in. So my AXA renewal was $1300+ which was similar to last year. If NTUC can give me $940 I'll take it. That's the same level like almost 10 years ago when I just bought my current car. It will just continue to drop when I accumulate more NCD, old already and drive a non-chiongster car so... drive Impreza meant higher insurance premiums... sigh... didn't know it was so serious cos only driving a normal 1.6 L not a turbo... but now everything is back to equilibrium... Hyundai branding is good for insurance premiums... heh heh...

Anyway get Komoco to do is also good lar... easier. No paperwork for me. Consider the difference as service fee lor...

Great to know that Komoco can quote from a wide range of insurer and give us an option to source ourselves.

I know some AD damn smelly. Force you to take their insurance and quote is from expensive insurer.

Can we use credit card to pay for the deposit and final payment? Does Komoco allows full payment without penalty?

I visited them previously but the SE assigned to me was sucky so I have no one to ask but here.

As far as I know, credit card can only be use to pay the initial deposit of $10k. Balance payment is made by Cheque.

If you are making full payment before the loan due date, it will be to the finance company that you do the house loan with. Normally there should be some extra cost but will still be cheaper than paying the full loan interest till end of tenure

You can pay in full when you are paying the final balance before you collect the car. No need take loan at Komoco Motors. But you have to agree that with your SE first. Cos the pricing may be a bit different if you take in-house financing (more discounts maybe) and if you don't.

I paid for deposit using my credit card but paid in full with cheques. Which credit card allows you to charge about $60,000 to it? I definitely not in that range of clients who own such cards... if so also won't be buying Hyundai I guess... hahaha...

Try this URL, kmotors sells many new Tucson accessories that local shop

have not bring in.

-----------------------

The Ulsan factory is producing max-out. So some basic model may even get better or

different specifications that on brouchure. ( Eg. SE say BLACK exterior comes with beige

seats but in the end I got grey, some say got 6 air bags and thats a bonus...lol )

After the 11 episodes of Descendant of the Sun, sales for tucson went up 15 pct domestically.

Havent count those exported to Asia.

I think the tailgate can be modify to motorized but need to spend $$, there's a budget way around, found one interesting auto tailgate using spring one here  [laugh]

I'm nowhere near the stage of swiping $60k with one credit card. If they allow credit card for down payment, I might be able to swipe the amount under 2-3 cards.. You know, this days, times are tough.. Obviously I want to make use of whatever credit card points/rebates

I have to admit Descendant of the Sun brought Tucson to my attention. I was considering other models but Tucson look really suave

Komoco only accept 10k booking deposit pay by credit card, balance down payment only can make by cash.

They do not charge extra on car selling price if you choose pay in full cash.

Seem like different SE has different pattern. For my case, cannot source own bank loan & insurance. No alternative insurance company only AIG, but my premium not so ex, only $990 with 50% NCB. If I can source my own insurance, I only need pay $700 for directasia.

Overall I'm satisfied my SE service. Came down to my place for documents sign & collect payment, book servicing appointment. Also hinted how to claim free new battery when close to 2 years warranty.

Wah bro... I don't have so many credit cards that can swipe over $20,000 each... heh heh... I don't think they will allow multiple cards. They have to pay the 3% charge... adds up to quite a bit. But no harm trying. Do report back here for everyone's benefit whichever way that request goes... cheers bro!
