N also the ref. So many dubious calls. Last min penalty to leicester also veey soft.

ok. Didn't watch Leicester match. Will check out the highlights later.

Cruising till half time, yet knowing this Liverpool team, the inability to kill off games always loomed behind.

Conceded a goal along with some anxiety till the final whistle.

Still it's 3 points away from home.

Hopefully no new injury worry as our midfield is a little light at the moment.

All in all, a decent result.

Seems like Liverpool always prefer to come from behind. Easier to win in this way than to maintain lead [laugh]

I think they try to  slow things down during 2nd half.  Trying to protect the lead and ensuring no wild counter attacks from BM. Basically not to repeat the Southampton match.

Ok la...at least they win

After the highs of friday morning, this game was really slow and dull.. tbh half the time i was on clash royale.. haha

wun go too much details into the goals..

Overall play was abit sloppy, we sat too deep..causing problems for lucas to handle King.. while smith was bombarding forward.. but kudos to Lucas for marshaling well against a faster player..

Ward was fantastic, tbh i didn't see the late goal leaked in.. i was watching the penalty leciester scored.. when change channel saw was 2-1, overall he had a decent game good stops esp the header.. only downfall was the cross when barged in.. maybe needa beef up like origi.. Looks abit like Joe Allen thou.. all the welsh all look the same.. haha

Ibe was back to his best.. decision making and execution could have been better but it was the raw Ibe we saw who could have become a better player.. hope he slowly improved..

Ojo was good but for 18yr old still not much of an impact, would love to see him be more daring, towards the end can see he shagged out like the rest of the youngster..

Randall was decent, very unflair player.. kept it simple most of the time just like stewart.. but i think he needs to read the game better like flanno or clyne due to his lack of pace.. but overall decent game..

Stewart was tenacious and simple like he always is..

Most disappointing i thought was smith.. tbh i love this kid.. i thought he had the potential to dislodge Moreno from the first team.. he's good bombarding foward, has a good read on the defence, but i felt he made too many mistakes trying too hard today..

Overall the seniors did what they did, allen had a wonderful game, sturridge was mad on form getting his feet back, could have got a hattrick if not for the woodwork.. Firmino needs to get more in the game.. Could have been a better scoreline, but 3 pts in the bag..

Win everton and we'll be 2pts behind Scums for 5th with 5games to go.. and 5pts behind man city...

Rooting for man city to win the CL. Reds also. Then hoping for MU to get fourth.

Job done tonight (technically last night since it's after midnight now). Not a great match, but thanks to BM who didn't play with much intensity till the end, we had it easy, even though we didn't play particularly well.

I think this is the first match I've seen Lucas captaining the side, and the team finished as winners  [thumbsup]

He made one or two mistakes but otherwise was good and commanding - a good sign!

Klopp was pissed by the first question reporter asked in the post match conference. The first question was asking about sturridge's performance.

frankly ward did not impress me.

I thought he made two good saves.

The only problem was his decision to come out for the ball when the crosses came in but he got nothing of the ball. This is generally the problem with Liverpool's goalkeeper anyway.

Klopp was pissed by the first question reporter asked in the post match conference. The first question was asking about sturridge's performance.

Like every pool player on the pitch last night, he had a mixed performance.

His back heel was class - it was rather accurate and decently powerful too. He managed to find himself into good space on at least 3 occasions, and carved out go openings. With a bit more accuracy and luck, he would have had 3-4 goals.

But otherwise, he was quite lazy as usual, and frankly didn't fit into the pressing game that Klopp wants.

frankly ward did not impress me.

He was like all the teammates - mixed performance.

I know why you said that. At least twice i had cold sweat when seeing him run out for high balls towards the penalty box, but was at least 2 m away… lucky the ball didn't float over him into goal...

but he was decently alert to most of the other (not that there were many) balls/shots towards goal and he reached the ground quite fast, which is a basic trait of decent goalies.

I guess having seen Bogdan and Mig's howlers earlier in the season, i didn't quite complain about Ward. Hopefully he's learning and he'll learn quickly. Quite young chap right?

I gotta a strong  feelin' that Pool will go thro' the Europa semi-final and emerge as eventual WINNER of the Europa Cup Final in Basel Swizterland.  The Anfield game against Dortmund reminds me of Istanbul again.
