Ppl drink champagne from trophy cups, whereas he drink isotonic drink from paper cups...

This is itself the main difference between great managers and some self-proclaimed "best" manager !

Huh??? What u say totally no logic. He will go for PL first as it will bring them to Europe.

If u are referring to Torres substitution, if u had been following the news, his medical team betray his trust when the owner tell the medical team to say Torres is fit for playing in the match.

Yes that's the rumors.. Because Rafa is finding their successor and they are worry. But the rumors I read doesn't involve Daniel agger.

I means in terms of priority between winning EPL title and winning a Europe silverware.

Rafa will go for Europe first. He has demonstrated many times in the past. When injuries are plenty and needs a good team for both EPL and Europe, he will go for Europe first.

We need a manager who is dedicated in winning EPL and make that his obsession, not Europe.

I think u are mistaken, he only did that when we are not chasing for the title.

The year we are chasing, his priority had been Bpl. And when he does rotate, it's against supposingly weaker team which that squad he use should be enough to win.

I only have good fond memories of RB ... even with the owners' turmoil ongoing at that time, he has mastered numerous famous victories.... so much so that ManU, Barca and RM feared us !

Now, even Stoke and Crystal P can killed us off ... what a joke !

I kinda agree.

I won't say he's focused on Europe. I just think he's a bit naive to believe all footballers are like robot. So his squad rotation keeps his squad "fresh" but not having a chance to be at 100% due to the minor changes he keeps making.

Whats the statistic? 50+ games with no same first 11?

Sometimes u need to be a motivator of idiots, keep it simple like JM.

Ok lah, i just want to see BR sacked first.

Everything else later then talk...

can't put a finger to it but with RB in charge then, I felt that the the club WAS going returning to its glorious days and the fans could feel that his teams were competitive on any level.

Many of these away games were painful to watch. The ones against supposedly weaker teams.

I can often sense the aim is to go there and draw and a win is secondary.

And that's one of the reasons why i'm not a huge fan of RB.

Many of these games were just like watching chelsea but without hazard or fabregas LOL.

Well. every manager divides the supporters.

Only one manager thus far has managed to make all the supporters stand at the same side. BR! HAHA :D

That's right.

We kept drawing the big names in Europe

Inter, Barca, Real Madrid, Juventus, PSV, Gala

but we kept beating them and going thru.

To be truthful our squad was pretty limited

but the genius of Rafa got us thru

with players like Igor Biscan and Neil Melllor.

Did I forgot to mention Sinama Pongolle and Anthony Le Tallec?

2 world beaters bought by Gerrard Houllier.

Along with the new Zidane and the spitter.

And Rafa made a team of these misfits

:D

That is y i tink many mistakes rafa's intentions. It is not that he prioritised europe. It is bcos he had time to prepare for them. He is very meticulous n he prepare the team for europe games really well. For bpl, it came every wk n with diff opponents. So he had less time to prepare specifically for that opponent. Thats y his teams mostly did well in cup games.
