my son still not interested in football yet. now only cartoons, play-fight n shooting. cant even kick a ball properly. n bcos of pool's match time, nvr get to watch with him.

There's was a pair of twins playing for us. Rush and aldridge

 

ha ha … yes yes, they did look quite similar, both choosing to have that mustache, with similar build too...

Importantly, they both liked to score. Pity, though, as both play the same position so can't play in the same team.

 

Another 2 that I took a while to differentiate were souness and terry mcdermott. also had mustache and same hairstyle...

 

And then there were (i thought) the 2 brothers - Allan and Ray Kennedy. For very long i really thought they were brothers.

We should each enlist one sarporter to carry on the line. I hVe done my part. No son, but daughter is the most ardent fan.

my p5 son was crazy about pool when LS n DS were scoring for fun. Asked my wife to buy a few sets of jerseys… had stayed up late to watch when next day no school. 

 

but when we stopped scoring, he not so interested anymore… no more idol in the team for him to focus on since SG's departure...

I think last world cup Costa Rica was something similar. Unlike all the other teams in quarter finals, Costa Rica was a team of unknown, but they played very well.

 

If Pool can do that - and consistently - I'll be very happy too. I'm sure my son can resume his interest as well. 

 

But for long stretches since LS' (and then SG's) departure, it was double whammy - no big star and also the team sucked… everyone played badly!

 

Hope we've finally found consistency and playing well.

Europa is still our best chance for champ league. It will bring in more money and give ask more pulling appeal when bidding for gd players.

 

I hope they draw their game, man city is the team we need to beat for the 4th spot. As for man utd their football style is so boring under LVG, now Most fans rather go play with spider than watch their team

nah.....we should concentrate on our team. pool only has europa n league to play. so don tink it will b too tiring for the team. for man u, let them destroy themselves. they r not exactly flying high at the moment, so they don need help from others to screw up. watever trophy pool can go for, they should. thats what a good team is made of.

Not that I don't want to reply you. But I am still holidaying in Hong Kong. As for insulting you, frankly speaking, it is no different from you insulting Rafa too. So if you are Liverpool fan, please please, just like king Kenny, what Rafa did for Liverpool goes beyond on the football pitch. You have to understand this. What goes on on the pitch, and off it, the club almost go into administration. He made mistakes, no doubt about it, but he did what he can under certain circumstances.

 

I replied and criticised you because you are Liverpool fan. Recently got one member come here and talk nonsense about him being a Liverpool fan and then scum fan and a punter etc etc I don't even bothered to reply. I do not want any Liverpool fan to be ignorant about our club and only care about success. Of course success is good because it make us happy and give us good mood because when we get older, there isn't anything a lot of things that can really really make us very happy, especially when time is not on our side.
