With Spurs current form, 4th position is drifting further away from us.

Spurs is playing quite well this season, even when its not it manage to win it

Hope Pool players mentality can change soon and more focus. Not to forget following klopp style more

you're right.

Not only form, but luck too.

Watford's red card was harsh. But with a man down, they were pinning Spurs back for extended period and Spurs didn't get out of its own half (or third) for about 10 min, conceding corners after corners.

At one such corner just before Spurs got the winner, the ball had crossed goal line about 90% before Lloris hooked it back out!!! Within a min (already deep in added time), Spurs went forward, and Son, a substitute was offside when he first challenged Gomis for a cross. Offside was not given, and when Gomis half punched it back to where it came from, the 2nd low cross that came in went straight to Son, who cheekily back heeled the ball through Gomis' legs...

Within a min Spurs went from 0 pts to 3 pts. Sympathise with Watford…  [bigcry]

Am hesitating whether to say anything about Sat's match - seems like when i start saying too much, will lose ...

Overall, it was an improvement. But it was partly also because Leicester didn't play well.

There was still lots of areas of improvement - but the 3 points mattered.

Notably, Sakho has now gone back to the days of 2 yr ago when he first joined. His passing was a joke, or rather he was a joke at that time. Pass him the ball, or if he has the ball, and I'll start shivering. In the last 2 matches, he's been close to that again. Let's hope he improves immeasurably now that Skrtel is injured - since Sakho looks indispensable now given our lack of defenders.

Our attacks are still lacking the penetration, and of course the final kill. Origi looked promising when he played, but fell victim soon. Benteke … i'm worried. He doesn't look like he knows what's expected of him (contrary to what he said in interview), and sorely lacks confidence. He bullied Skrtel for 2 seasons running at Anfield, but got bullied by defenders in consecutive games and i think he's worried. The goal he scored, while looking good, is I suspect a miskick when he started to lose his balance. But he got the 3 pts, so i hope it helps his confidence. The last min miss supports my view that he's short of confidence.

Firminio, except for the assist, did nothing much that's useful. He needs to improve greatly and quickly. Coutinho is his usual blow-hot-and-cold self. The last 2 matches were undoubtedly cold.

I hope we beat Sunderland. And without further injuries too.

first and foremost, we need to get a solid & dependable GK. no need to be super, just a solid 7/10 in every aspect. a good goalie will form a strong base for the spine. A shaky goalie will make our backline kanjiong .......

Bogdan is rather decent as a backup (bar that calamitous error), I'll keep him. As for me-no-let, his days are gone. expect him to be shipped out come summertime

we did not go for cech... thats the signing i wanted.

menolet is still quite useful lah, he shot stopping more than 7/10

but his command of area and handling of crosses => chuiz

watch the last match, saw 3 to 4 lcfc players surrounding menolet, and no liverpool defenders bailing out the guy. very weird set piece defending

every club wanted him, but Liverpool as a city and club (then) had no chance against London. Real stupid and (kind) move by chelsea.

That's why I am not going to say anything. Just keeping my finger crossed tightly and hope we have something to celebrate at the end of the season [:)] other than one quote by Klopp on the previous one and some performance of a few players, overall I have nothing much to be unhappy about.

Going for a long holiday with family to places less stressful and slower pace does bring everything back to perspective, about what is important to my life. Personally I really have nothing much to ask for, I don't have major ambition to achieve anything personal. At this stage of my life is all about being happy, and hopefully not too many ups and downs in foreseeable future. The next 10 years is all about fully pay up my house, seeing my kids growing up nicely, being healthy and peaceful for me and everyone around me. Liverpool winning something will help a lot in my level of happiness. Am I asking for too much? :D

saw the table and we are at 10th place after the win.....haiz :we-all-gonna-die:

Given that Leicester and ManC drew last night.... and if we manage a win against Sunderland tonight, we will jump from 10th to 7th, same point as ManU who is at 6th ...

Come On, a win, whether a slender win, will be good enough for us :)

The most important thing is the next game...

one game at a time.... just focus on getting the next 3 pts.... keeping the next clean sheet... and scoring a goal within the first 10min of play

but after sunderland, we are playing west ham... that will be tough, think we may drop points there... esp when WHU had 2 more days of rest..

Yup, totally agreed !

Keep the pass simple, and aim to score first and keep the nerves ....

Think of Sunderland game first lah ... cross this, and we will think of the next game :))
