sign risse to provide cover for moreno ;p

Berger still has a lot in him! Probably some of the best lefties Liverpool ever had. Second to Barnes in my opinion.

A commendable result ( 2 - 2 ) in the way that we were twice behind and came back twice to level the game.

Not so good is that the opponents were in League 2, that's like 60-70 places below us and regardless of team selection, we ought to have enough quality to get the result.

Another issue would be fixture congestion, adding another game into the tally when we have about a dozen walking wounded.

Credit to Exeter, coming at us with a decent approach, this earning them a lucrative replay at Anfield.

Our reserve keeper CMI....

All in all, just glad that there was no giant killing, upset, shocked result.

We live to fight another day.

P.S. : Hopefully no dreaded injuries (hamstring) sustain by our lads.

Totally agreed !

Anyway, its a good match for our youngsters to gain valuable match experience... though we need to play 1 more match....

Still, giving our current squad availability, credit to these players who managed to fight back :)

Now, its time to rest and hopefully more players can come back from injuries soon :)

Asked by one journalist if he felt the Reds deserved a draw, Klopped replied: “Yes, of course we deserved a replay. These players worked and tried what they could tonight.

“If they made mistakes, it’s my responsibility. If they were not good in one-on-one, it is the responsibility of all the coaches of Liverpool FC. If they were not good in headers, it is the responsibility of all coaches of Liverpool FC – not the players.

“We picked them and said, ‘Come on, help us in this moment’. They did, 2-2, we go home, now the next game.

“[They didn’t play] as good as they can, but it was good enough for a draw.”

sounds like the GK coaching dept should be peeing in their pants.

The kids did really well.

This is a patched up team made up of young kids

that were loaned out to different clubs.

Some of them only pulled back from loan

clubs only the day before and registered

just in time to play. After the first goal they

held possession and played really well.

Smith and Ojo did really well. The first

goal by Jerome Sinclair finishing was really

good, much better than Joe Allen can.

Watched the highlights and my conclusion is that they played well despite the fact that they have been playing together regularly as most were out on loan.

There were flashes of nice link up play and if Liverpool keep these youngsters together and play regularly together, they have great potential to be promoted to first team.

Nice to see the youngster crawl their way back despite going behind twice. Goes to show they are not lacking in confident and have great desire to do well.

Once again goalkeeper is in the limelight. Liverpool really needs to examine their coaches.

rumours

In - Pato

Back - Balo

pato's like another sturridge.. spurs wants to sign him too i think

balo paired bentake is ok, but we must learnt to f**king cross the ball and play to forwards strengths.

with coutihno out, we probably can play a 2nd striker instead of packing the mf without ever controlling it
