We haven't have such positive atmosphere in this thread for a very long time. Good to see everyone so happy, like we have won a cup final. Really time to celebrate!!!

We will double that happiness if we know who taking over as Pool manager with the odd from most Pool fans is Klopp .... [bounce2][bounce2]

Fellow YNWA's ...

I have always thought I'd be happy with Klopp but that was when Carlo Ancelotti was not available.

I'd rather go with Carlo Ancelotti to be honest ... he has a proven track record, managed at the highest level and has delivered trophies!

I suspect that FSG had to make a move quick was cos Moaner might get sacked soonish and AbramoRICH was in the market for another manager. They are unlikely to go back for Carlo Ancelotti so Klopp will be at the top of their list!

Ok, I will start the new thread rolling :)

Since all of us, Pool supporters, are in good mood today... let's start a new Beginning :))

Who will be our new Manager to kick start our season?

Klopp looks like odds on favourite now :)

Hopefully we will get the new manager asap so that he can set his thoughts rolling...

Our team is full of internationals and I am sure they will welcome a fresh face :)

Yeah..................

Better starts early with only 8 games played and can still aim for top 4 finish with the new manager .... [bounce2]

Will fight for league champion next season as currently, ManU, ManCity and Arsenal are well gel together whereas Pool need time to gel with the new manager. :yuush:

Good morning to Bro & Sis!

Amid the haze today feels like a day of reborn, a day of hope!

I wish to see Klopp as our manager and how he can transfer his philosophy into this football club.

Turbocharged

Ancellotti / Klopp both fine with me. But i fell Ancellotti has a bit more experience, feels more fatherly to the young players we have. Klopp more like brother.

But knowing FSG, they prob go Soton and rain koeman.

Anyone is better than rodgers. Happy that he's gone? Nah. Relieve is more like it

Reporting here ! All the best for pool and all fans worldwide.

May this thread be filled with discussion about pool's revival and progresses.

Understand that the regrouping (see that I avoided the term "rebuilding", obviously) and revival takes time.

Should be realistic for at least this season.

Cheers [thumbsup]

Fox Sports news : Klopp backed for Liverpool post

Liverpool legends Jamie Carragher and Graeme Souness believe that Jurgen Klopp is the right man to take of the reins at Anfield following Brendan Rodgers' departure.

Rodgers was sacked on Sunday, an hour after seeing his side held to a 1-1 draw by Everton in the Merseyside derby. The Ulsterman's exit came as little surprise, with the former Swansea boss' future having been the topic of intense speculation for some time, with Liverpool having won just one of their last nine matches.

Former BVB Dortmund manager Klopp and ex-Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti are the favourites to replace Rodgers, and Carragher feels that of the pair it is Klopp who is best suited to Liverpool.

"If it was me, I would go for Klopp ahead of Ancelotti," Carragher told Sky Sports. "I think he's got more to prove. Liverpool is not an easy job now. Ancelotti is a great manager, but he's gone to clubs where you're expected to win trophies.

"It's a difficult job now at Liverpool, getting back into the top four. Forget talking about the title. I think it needs someone with that energy and drive to get the club back to where it wants to be, and I think Jurgen Klopp is that man."

Carragher's preference for Klopp is shared by former Liverpool captain Graeme Souness.

"When you think about it logically, Ancelotti's last three jobs were Chelsea, PSG and Real Madrid," explained Souness.

"They can go out and buy the best players in the world. They have more spending power that anyone else out there. So Klopp might be a better fit. At Dortmund, they continually lost their better players at the end of each season. So he might be a better fit, coming in and working with younger players."

Klopp has been without a job since calling time on his seven-year spell at Dortmund at the end of the 2014/15 season. According to reports in the English press, the confirmation of the Klopp's arrival at Anfield is imminent, with the 48-year-old said to have agreed a three-year deal.
