There are strong reports that Brendan Rodgers will be sacked after the Merseyside derby even if Liverpool win. FSG have decided to relive Brendan Rodgers from his duties. According to the reports, the deal could be announced soon after the derby against Everton on Sunday. Jurgen Klopp has been heavily linked with the Liverpool job for the last few weeks and even BILD had also claimed that he was in England to discuss opportunities, after rejecting a chance to manage the Mexican national team. This could be massive statement on intent from Liverpool. Appointing Klopp could guarantee them a Champions League spot next season and maybe silverware this season. This all speculation at the moment but if it's true then Liverpool fans should be very excited about it. Clyne is very good coming from the back. As wing back his effectiveness is curtailed and his defensive position is compromised. He is a good reader of the game from his fullback position hence he knows when to time his overlapping when to move back when needed defensively. I believe Can, together with Moreno, will be targeted. Defulofeu will definitely make life difficult for Moreno. And Lukaku may position himself more towards left to challenge any long ball with Can, or use pace against him.
