there is no shape, no leadership in the team.

tactic 1 - Just pass to Ibe/Origi and let them do magic. No runners ........ boring

tactic 2 - See Above

As much as i like ibe, i tink he needs to improve a lot. He has the speed, but really almost zero footballing brain. Dunno when to pass, when not to pass. Can only run wif the ball.

N somehow he nvr cross even when there is a gd chance to so it.

Sian to the max. I didnt bother to eatch the 2nd half. This is such a winnable game. Sion is there for the taking, yet pool cant do shit.

This manager is really something...making the europa like a carling cup game.

Didn't watch the match. But I watched the previous match vs sion before and below is the highlight clip. That time liverpool also playing with 3 central defenders and conceding goals. What stands out is not mcmanaman or fowler or berger, it is the manager. Roy Evans, from the boot room era, down to earth, unassuming, nothing fanciful, no colorful words and boast. Yes he lost control of the players who go with the culture of drinking and the Armanis, but he always has the interest of the club over himself, not like someone else, who has no values and shame at all.

I didn't watch the game but to draw with Sion at Anfield is embarrassing. More disappointing is to not see any news on BR departure from LFC. If only more Liverpool supporters in the UK believe that BR is not the person to bring the club forward and want him out. There are still quite a lot supporters sticking with BR.

After draw can sack already ?

Doesn't look like BR is leaving yet.

as a LFC fan there is nothing more painful than watching them play live on TV and yet still having to see BR's face, :a-bang: .... perhaps it would ease this pain just a wee bit if the cameras would just stop zooming on him....period !! [mad]

to me BR is the cause of everything that has gone wrong, it has been and will always since he let off Agger and Suarez, .......even when I can't find a parking space is his damn fault [laugh]

woah BR has taken over PAP? [grin]

Can someone tell that boasting fella that if your Defence always concede it will concede no matter how many CB he put

He thought he is playing blackjack by buying insurance by using additional CB

Now I know y pool passing completion is fantastic

All thanks to our famous sideway passing CB

BR is now using statistics to justify his stay

side way pass is a great way to bump up the statistics

One win in last eight matches (all competitions) means need to be sacked .... :yuush:

Yahoo : Rodgers refuses to panic after latest Liverpool stumble

Brendan Rodgers insisted he won't press the panic button after Liverpool's spluttering campaign suffered another blow with a lacklustre 1-1 draw against FC Sion in the Europa League on Thursday.

Rodgers' side took an early lead through Adam Lallana, but they were pegged back by Ebenezer Assifuah's first-half equaliser.

The Reds wasted a host of opportunities to regain the advantage and under-fire boss Rodgers was forced to endure boos from the Kop at the final whistle.

With a Merseyside derby at Everton looming on Sunday, Rodgers knows the scrutiny will only grow in the coming days, but he maintains he is still relishing the task of getting Liverpool back on track.

"We are one point behind Everton. I know the media and written press will build the game up but we will stay calm," Rodgers said.

"I am immensely enjoying the job, it is a great challenge and it is a rebuilding job again."

Liverpool have won only one of their last eight matches in all competitions, increasing the pressure on Rodgers.

But he still made seven changes as he rested key players ahead of the Merseyside derby.

And the replacements, especially Belgian forward Divock Origi, who was deputising for Daniel Sturridge, failed to take their chances.

"This is where we find out about players like Divock Origi and others on the fringe," Rodgers said.

"They will be important for us in games like these. Divock did well but he didn't score and he has to add that to his game.

"We go into the game against Everton and we will focus on our performance. The players will look forward to it. I haven't lost a derby yet and they are always good games."

But Rodgers did concede he was unhappy with the way his team once again failed to kill off inferior opposition.

"The result was disappointing considering the number of chances we created," Rodgers said.

"We worked well and had a good start but gave away a disappointing goal.

"The players worked hard but we couldn't score the goals. You have to be clinical. We scored a good first goal.

"They weren't half chances, they were good chances and you have to score them at this level. We have to win a game like that."

highlights actually origi looks f good.. as we lla s ings..

the strikeforce is gd. origi n ings both played well. n ings is such a willing runner i was afraid he may tire out in the 2nd half. he jus kept running n running. so with sturridge back n hopefully benteke, the team should b scoring goals.

the problem is the midfield n defence. midfield without coutinho on form, is useless. they will just keep passing ard till someone has the idea to make the final pass. lallana has that ability, but he has yet to perform consistently. firmino also...but need him to adapt quickly. defence is the worst. he keep changing the back 4 or back 5 so frequently, they cant work in tandem with each other.

n pls....pls tell him to stop playing Can at CB. if not enough CB to play 3, jus play 2 CB.
