Bros,

More photos of new forester sk ... glad I got the last few fxt sjg without having to indent.

Looks even more difficult to mod on aesthetics and seriously utility for lumberjack marlboro man and jeep like than ever before. Think moms sending kids for football session will also shun away liao ..lol !

Cheers.

Richard

Thanks for the photos. Don't look too much different, especially the interior. Then again, this is on SGP right? Mayb changes are more on the 'inside' of the vehicle...

Need to look for fxt bro changing to bbk.

If can get a set with tyres at a reason price. Else I am looking for 18x8.5j.

There should be quite a number of used sets with tyres selling away. You can try carousell.

I believe the start of the 2020 decade will be exciting for Subaru fans. Heard that the next gen STI will be launched ard 2021 or 2022, on the new SGP as well.

Hi MQX,

Indeed for SUV category but biggest mkt of usa for subaru where fna with samd awd, space, xmode, good visibility, low price etc. and available 2.5l dun-care road tax situation mades inefficient and more complicated (read more problem) turbo charged performance fxt only for selective group ... who can still get their sti wrx sedans etc.

Their thinking along various forester models is quite clear with no manual, no scoop and now no turbo to shed off performance from utility ... no more limited in-betweens for their usa customers.

I am just glad I got my fxt end 2017 due to right timing of 10 yrs old estim.

Cheers.

U.S market no VES penalty, why also discontinued FXT?

even on YouTube video a lot of U.S customers also criticized for Forester FNA and CVT, expect new FXT should come with Manual gearbox and 265bph/370N.m, and defeat same class Ford Escape, now they should be very disappointed with Forester current spec, really don't understand Subaru's strategy, lose U.S market they will lose all world, next year Subaru's revenue sure dramatically dropping,

Believe Dealers will increase FXT price further, at least next 5 years no more new Forester turbo in market

Hi MQX,

No VES but usa oreli have 2.5L more FC friendly, road tax inert, cheaper without turbo/more parts with resulting less problem as well as differentiated from racer boys sedan who can look for sti wrx etc.

No chance for subaru loss in revenue and probably more profit with no need to manage turbo variant which is neligible to their stable of cars ... they clearly knows how much $ fxt bring in and decided not worthwhile .. betta spend on hybrid offering in the new green world for SUV market.

Cheers

Or may the SGP isn't ready to manufacture a turbo model. So far all the models produced from there are non turbo. Let's give them some times. Next STI may come around 5 to 6 years time, and it should be built from the same SGP as other models, which means by then Turbo should be ready on that platform. But yes, like what MQX said, there likely won't be new turbo Forester for the next 5 years, so treasure what we have now.
