Just remember the sports kit will increase your FC and alcantara leather is synthetic ..

thanks for the advice.

I didnt know it was synthetic......

Oh yeah. l learnt something today.

But this material suppose to last longer.

For the sport kit, it look more handsome and aggressive as compare to the normal mode.

of course, is individual aspect.

here is the definition :

Composition[edit]

Alcantara is composed of about 68% polyester and 32% polyurethane,[5] giving increased durability and stain resistance. The appearance and tactile feel of the material is similar to that of suede, and it may be identified as such.

Some versions are designated as flame retardant in order to meet certain fire standards for both furnishings and automobile applications.[3]

Interested to find out about this as well. So far seems like the only option is to install the obd rc-1.

Hi Loudexhaust,

Please see below on ecu upgrade for both fna and fxt but you will need to write to them with your vin# if suitable for those shipped to Singapore as there MAY be some variations:

Frankly, I would wait for the new platform forester fna end this year if possible and if a forester at all due to its ride comfort limitation... I bought the fxt last year only because no more fxt in new platform and wanted 350Nm 240 bhp cheaply.

Cheers.

Richard

Is there tuning available for FNA to give it more pickup power (0-100) mark? i am not sure about insurance if we tune Car engine in Singapore. Any thought guys?

Would love to go for FNA at the current price but lack of pickup power hold me back. (XT over my budget at the moment :P)

Anyone can share if they manage to knock down on the 98.7k on the pricing or they got more freebies?

Better get it now, since I think this could be the lowest already.

i think they may have secured enough Cat E last round at $39,903 and now can clear some stock at a lower price $97.8K

Happy Chinese New Year!

Just liked to say thanks to all the contributors in this thread. Had placed a deposit for the FNA just before CNY, and looking forward to getting it soon.

Took me a lot of time to go through the thread, and still digging for more information. Too many post discussing FC [laugh]

Does anyone have a copy of the service manual for SJ5 or SJG?

Congrats! What freebies (if any did you get)?

I'm considering the FNA too, but the lack of Apple Carplay is unfortunate.

Anyone installed a new ICE with Apple Carplay before? How's the cost like?

Didn't get any freebies as I opt out of them.

Am looking at upgrading the HU too. It seems like the face plate/panel need to be changed, and my main concern is the interface of the steering wheel buttons with the new HU.

Yeah, not sure how the reverse camera will interface with the new unit, and also the voice activation.

May I know how much you paid after opting out of freebies?

My price was 96.8k for FNA, with car trade in.

Reverse cam should be ok, but not so sure about voice activation.
