Outback ?

Indeed, I believe the Outback is classified as a SUV as well. A large one, but a SUV nontheless.

dont worry - you wont be worse off than me.

i got zero freebies. all i got was the standard - no free mat, no boot protector, nothing.

i didnt take much loan - so i think the SE also didnt earn much so we cut the conversation short as well.

likely going to order 3m car mat, use back my old itronic camera and all is good to go. can i join the whatsapp group?

Thought I'd share this. For those still considering the Forester, safety is one of the key deciding factor why I bought the car... http://www.iihs.org/iihs/ratings/vehicle/v/subaru/forester-4-door-suv/2014#jump-to

I realized from the videos of many car models, the rim broke into many pieces... Perhaps it's also safer that way to prevent the rim from invading into the cabin.

3A car mat quality is just as good but at a much cheaper price. The longest I have used is 5 years but that is because I sold my car after 5 years. The mats were still in good conditions when I sold the car. They can customized the mat size for your boot as well.

Good luck with asking for free 5 yr servicing. It is worth 2.5k if you want to purchase it.

Seems like nothing will be given. Other AD are more generous, like BM they gave 3M solar film, 3M car mat and 5 years free servicing.

Anyone knows why local Forest doesn't come with GPS ? Singapore too small?

Nothing beats Google Maps. Because it takes into account live traffic. And it's constantly updated.

Doesn't work in Malaysia if without data roaming.

Hai, I need to have some advice from fellow Forester owner.

I just gone for my 1000 km oil change. Now I notice that my immobiliser

warning light keep blinking once I off the engine. Is that normal?

How can I stop the warning light from blinking?

Thanks.

To be fair, you compare the profit margin between MI and PM.

BMW 1 series - 44% Margin

Forester - 33% Margin

Considering the fact the MI install many more stuff in SG means the margin is even less. I guess it is easy to be generous when you have high profit.

You mean this indicator? It's normal for it to blink when you turn off the engine.

I heard Waze does the same thing.

Live Traffic does rely on data connection though, as mentioned, though GPS navigation itself can be used as long as the map is pre-installed I think
