Eyesight not so good leh, can you help to zoom in the LED light areas (wonder how the DRL LED looks) ?

I asked the same question and I was shown some foam/fiber type material for the $1150 soundproofing. SE said the quote I got was for the aluminium type material.

@bentong - undercarriage was $290, 4 doors $680, roof $60, all before GST. Includes anti-rust.

Roof $60 or $600?

Malaysia FNA front part look better than the SG FXT. next to fog light the black vertical part have LED light.

Actually, that's the same as the JDM FXT. IMO, the bumper corner DRL LED look like fangs... Find it quite weird and out of place. Maybe good if u want your car to look like Dracula's car during Halloween. And it's quite dim... I'm glad the local version doesn't have it

Anyway, local owners can get it from japanparts.com but it's quite pricey. Abt $600 if I recall

There is some free leather cleaning that came with the car purchase. There is a warranty by them so I assume our cars came in naked and this company upholstered them. Anyone going for it....I am probably ignoring it if nothing great comes out of it.

Edit : Am also curious which parts are leather which are pseudo leather/pvc. I definitely dont expect it to be full leather. Anyone knows...

Seats came from factory with fabric, but were re-upholstered locally by Leather Etc Pte Ltd.

Since you're owed free leather cleaning, any reason not to claim it, unless you prefer cleaning leather yourself?

Dunno about Forester, but I know Legacy steering wheel came factory-wrapped with real leather. Shifter knob too, I think, though I'm not sure.

Won't the opportunity cost of not being able to use the car (by leaving it at MI for 5 days) outweigh the cost of a new battery?

That said, your car is so new, I would be pissed off if I have to buy a new battery just to prove that the problem lies with the battery...

Hope you find out what's the cause of the problem and resolve it soon.

Perhaps I was not clear. The 5 days non usage was at my home. The test by MI was done by them at workshop within a day.

Anyway. ... I'll test n monitor voltage.

Something not right. I leave my car for stretch of 2 weeks when I travel. Car starts as per normal when I come back

Yeah something is not right. Is it because you have your in-car camera running in parking mode? That would drain the battery.

True. Could be a problem with the in-car camera's auto cut-off cable running to your fuse box, assuming you have one installed. Even if the cable installed correctly, cameras such as iRoad V9 allow you to specify auto cut-off voltage, which could be set wrongly.

Thanks for the tip - no, I do no t have any in-camera onboard except for the reverse parking camera.

I asked the question and was told the "facing panels" ie, those that touch your body are genuine leather.

So basically those against your bum and your back + the headrest are leather. The rear of the seats and side panels etc are all PVC...
