Check the tyre pressure.  They usually way over-pressure for new car.

 

If you get it back down to the recommended pressure (as in the manual or the door pillar sticker), you will enjoy the ride even more (even more comfortable suspension and better driving control).

In the ideal world, every car should have

• 1000bhp
• 1000Nm torque from 1000 rpm - 9000 rpm
• As quiet as a Lexus,
• As beautiful as (Fill the design of the car you like)
• FC more 23km/l
• Spacious
• Good Handling
• Large boot
• etc, etc

But it will probably cost $99,999,999. Design is always about compromises. They start with a price bracket and then decide what are the important elements a car should have, then they include these elements with design.

 

If you are looking at forester XT, it is a little tiny weeny bit silly to be worried about FC and noise. That is not what Forester XT is about.

 

Power and Good FC are sworn enemies. They will never be seen at the same place.
