Ok. Thanks will do the tire trick.

Pump cold how far i can drive? Nearest pump is around 1km away, will it consider still cold?

Did pump air today, all tiers were at 250kpa. Not sure if higher is better or worst. Pumped all tires to 228kpa-33 psi.

Mud guard/flap received and fixed with just a few screw.

If you DIY fix the mud flap before the fender, this way made the job of fixing the fender easier. Use the Flap as a guide then stick the fender. I did it the other way round, because the fender arrived first.

Cheers and happy DIY !

Bro, how do u fit the front flap ? There are no holes there. I just got a set of mud flap and can fit the rear flap cos got built in holes . So I fit the rear flaps using the screw and washers. The front flap position are without built in holes so do I just use the inserts ? Btw my set only comes with 8 pairs of screw with washer , the rest are inserts

One way to do it is by using a clip nut. It secures to the car and provide a entry point where the screw can be secured. :D

I get it outside with installation. You can get it from toabao but need to look for installer.

How much did you pay in total outside? Can PM me your installer? Thanks.

I bought similar side step from Taobao for less than S$150 (with freight). Anyone know of any installer that I can use?

Neutral Newbie

I have not order yet they quoted $830 for side step and grill guard. I find it quite exp but think of the hassel free like shipping-in defect and installation process damage, good and bad lo.

Buying online might be cheaper and source for installer.

Eh...how to PM ha? You ask them just do installation possible or not.

For the Forester XT, I can find only 2 different replacement tires because it is an uncommon size. They are Bridgestone Dueler Sport (and upgrade to our Dueler 400) and Continental Crosscontact UHP (Ultra High Performance). Any others? Comments on the Dueler Sport or Conti Crosscontact UHP?

Outbid again this round, 3rd round liao, sad [bigcry] , Any brother here secured their COE?

Those who book the car at 46K COE, anyone got the COE?

aww man.. tough luck.

according to conventional wisdom (specifically for MI), if your car has not arrived in SG, your bid has a lower chance of being successful. If the stock is here, the bids are usually smooth sailing. Maybe check with your SE if your car is here in SG already? :)

Good luck for the next round!

Another question for the lao jiaos here...

What is the built-in anti-theft system for the Forester? My old car had an alarm system with a red blinky light. When I collected my FXT this last Monday, I asked my SE about it and he said something about an "immobilizer". I can't find it in the manual or online, so can any brother shed light on this?

Hi, I was also outbidded again. I went in to check, they bidded $50,599. Lower than the last round. I suspect, maybe the stocks really not ready yet. Still got 3 more rounds right?

The immobilized is a chip inside the car key, something like a transponder. Without it, the chip inside the ignition cannot communicate and thus unable to start the car. Even if you go duplicate a set of keys outside without the immobilizer, you still cannot start the car.

Yours is XT or NA?

Are your car stock here?

For me when I book my XT, no stock. 1st 3 bid MI only bid for show.

On the 4th bid, knowing that stock will arrive the same weekend. MI start bid aggressively and revised the bid in order to get the COE. Collect my car 2 weeks later.
