Muser 4th Gear July 4, 2016 Share July 4, 2016 (edited) Alamak paiseh, typo - $680 Hahah, though so, thanks. And a good reason for me not to soundproof the roof. So, your aluminium panels cost more than the foam insulation then. Means better, I assume. Edited July 4, 2016 by Muser ↡ Advertisement

SJGDKK8 1st Gear July 5, 2016 Share July 5, 2016 After 3500+ KM, I kinda realise there are a few issues: 1) Steering wheel badly aligned to left when driving down the straight road. I have driven many cars, some family, own, company rental and during overseas attachment. The only car with worst alignment is SAF land rover or 3 tonner.. that speak a lot about a brand new car... anyone else have this issue? 2) Morning start driving off, with squeaky sound at the brake like a 10 year old car... It goes away fairly quickly but why will a new car have this issue? Any bro experience the same issue?

I did bring this up during my 1st servicing but its still not 100% fixed. It will still veer to the left but not as bad as before. Will haf to bring this up again on my 5000km service. Read somewhere in the earlier post that this is a common issue.

They will give u a report to show the alignment correction. Problem solved.

But there's a problem with Spotify, it stops playing after a few songs. Research on Google shows it to be a Spotify problem. Suggestion to turn on cross fade on Spotify do not work. Rachdanom 2nd Gear July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 Got a question about stopping on a downslope. Just now was at Parkway Parade exiting. Those familiar will know that the exit gantry is on a downslope. The gantry systen could not detect my card, and after adjusting card still couldnt read so I thought to reverse back and go forward again. I was wondering if I needed to pull the handbrake, engage R, press accelerator a bit and release handbrake to make this move. Which is what I would do in a manual car, which I was used to. For the FXT do I need to do this ? Or just put foot on brake, engage R, release foot from brake and press accelerator? Is there a hill assist for reverse or is there sufficient torque to prevent me from rolling down forward and hitting the gantry when I shift my right foot from brake to accelerator? By the way the system read my card before I tried to reverse but it got me thinking....

Even if u let go foot brake there is hill assist which will hold for u for 2 secs before car starts rolling back. After the 2 secs, just let go foot brake gradually to reverse till hand can reach the gantry to insert cash card. Only difference with my previous auto car is fxt got hill assist. Thanks, I assume what you meant was "before car starts rolling FORWARDS" for this scenario. In short there is hill assist also for downslope when reverse gear is engaged. ↡ Advertisement
