I was offered a price 109.8K during my first visit for the FXT. But as I was considering to get NA or XT, so didn't sign on the spot. Eventually I did signed for the FXT, weeks later where the COE climbed 6K, still a little lower than 112.8K, however NG COE.

MI is pretty competitive but is a 2 way street. I told my SE I don't want any freebies just the lowest price. Just the standard car mat, in house tonight tint and whatever comes with it. I will pay for the blackvue and also ask him to quote me the lowest price.

I Guess nothing is free really, it all depends on how you paid for it. I prefer a Low price than asking for freebies, but that is just my preference.

Congrats! $112.8K is a good price

Yah. That's is exactly how the XT accelerate... smooth, fast & quiet...

Not like what people always think Subaru is like a Ah Seng car because of the Ah Seng MI boss.

Actually that silly Ah Seng advert is so irritating & cheapens the image of Subaru.

I know someone who bought XT at $13X last year when COE was higher.

Nope, mine is NA dark grey.

If COE softens to below $35K, NA should drop below $100K.

The car body colours quite limited but dark grey is nicer than black.

Black Diamond refers to extra sporty finishings & leather seat.

Got my XT a week ago, clocked ~500km. My experience with XT so far :

- Came from saloon, XT sits higher, great view with good forward visibility on the road.

- Compared to my previous ride (06' Mercedes E, 160+hp/240NM), road/wind noise insulation of XT is acceptable. But, have not driven on NSHW yet. So, can't tell how XT score in road/wind noise at expressway speed.

- XT's 230+hp/350NM power is best delivered smoothly. I think FC will deteriorates significantly under hard acceleration driving style. Overall, IMHO, FC is not the strength of XT.

- The AWD performs well, considered its height. Corners feel wheels well planted, with very little body roll. So far, not observed any rattling sound, indicated a well built chassis/body. A pleasant surprise to me, actually.

- I replaced the stock tinted films, which I felt the heat rejection performance did not meet my expectations.

- When paired with my Android phone, the head unit can read (read out in voice) my SMS and E-mails. The only missing 'nice to have' is the GPS.

- The reverse camera is great, with 'green/yellow/red projection lines'.

- Overall and so far, a pleasant driving/owning experience.

Actually most colors are pretty ok. I would have taken flat white if there was such an option. Silver, blue, pearl white, black would be ok for me too. Wife likes the dark grey and I find it nice too. Happy wife, happy life..

Wise man indeed. A happy Wife makes a happy life.

Surprised your Wife didn't go for the Red.

These few days driving under the scorching sun, not too bad. I installed the top range Titan solar film from Cool & Lite on the sunroof and there's no noticeable difference from the side panels. But I feel the windscreen film could be better...but maybe no solar film can withstand our tropical 35°C sun based on the guidelines set by LTA.

can share how much did the titan package cost?
