Remember to ask for min 3k discount non g bid

I was at LK show around 12pm, test drive FXT and impressed by its performance and quietness.

SE told me this weekend is having $3k discount promo with guarantee COE (forget its 4 or 6 bids), additional of $1k and $2k for non guarantee COE for 6 and 8 bids respectively.

I did not ask for freebies as was not ready to sign the pepper yet.

The discount promotion is every week, standard feature.

I was at showroom yesterday late afternoon. Friend wanted to test drive Levorg. The dealer offer him $5K discount, for non guaranteed COE.

You have any pic to share?

I am keen to see a black edition on the road.... A facelifted black edition will be rare...

My experience with MI on their special addition add ons, don't go for it  it is to be fitted on a new launch FL.

I had an experience with MI  years ago when I bought my BL9 legacy GT for their "tuned by STI" add on package with bodykit suspension and engine tune.

Because mine was a new FL batch that needed homologation, end up they say the new FL cannot have the engine tune due to different ECU or something. End up had to bag table, they just FOC STI lip spoiler for me and refunded me the full top up sum.

That experience taught me that MI know nuts about the cars they are bringing in until the car actually reach the showroom.

did u know there are two bridges connecting Singapore to Malaysia? And Malaysia has a land border with Thailand?

Different strokes for different folks.

Pls don't feel a need to impose your beliefs on others.

Not imposing belief. Just sharing and finding sense....

Also considered the north highways which is a good reason. For me I won't be traveling there much...

Hi,

Was at LK and tested the XT. Very impressed by the handling and the Sports (S) and the Xtreme Sports (#S) driving modes. The XT morphed into 2 totally different beasts. Some had posted that the XT was noisy but I found it to be quite quiet even in #S mode. Ride-wise was quite comfortable too. The interior is quite spacious and equipment level is above average. XT doesn't have the Honda Sensing, auto-stop start, all around camera or park assist. Overall am quite impressed even though it doesn't have the features I mentioned.

Then I proceeded to Nissan and tested the Xtrail. After having just tested the XT, must say the the Xtrail seemed "underpowered" and kind of struggled to get up to speed. It did have the all round camera and we were higher up in the Xtrail. The ride was about the same as the XT however being higher than the XT, the Xtrail didn't take bends as enthusiastically and as confidently as the XT. I believe the Xtrail is more suited for a sedate drvier. Though the Xtrail is a "7" seater, IMHO, it is more a 5 + 2 where the 2 are either very young short children or short midgets [:p]

Must say the I am quite swayed by the XT especially in the Black Edition trim but am going to adopt a wait and see attitude as my current drive can still last me till end May. Hopefully, the COE will start dropping further [thumbsup]

Anyone with any comments???

Does anyone know if the forester XT comes with tyre pressure monitoring sensors/system ?

Nope

Depends on what colour you want, some colour if the booking time is not right. Waiting time may be up to 3 month if no ready stock.

I booked on mid Feb, only expect collect car early May.
