Ewennst 1st Gear November 12, 2015 Share November 12, 2015 Yes. I am doing just that, powering my car camera using the cigarette charger inside the console box. I checked with my SE, this won't void the warranty. It does make sense because many of us do use cigarette charger to power up our GPS. I think I read somewhere that if install charging cable to cigerette ligher socket will not affect warranty (as compared to direct to fuse box). Anyone can confirm if that is true? I am not sure on the warranty portion if you get any other 3rd party brand and ask MI to install. Getting car in December...;) They are charging me 750 for front and back with some smart recording function. wow $750 for 2 channel cam! Maybe having a cam with GPS log is not that good idea.. imagine u got into an accident while travelling at 70km/hr on a 50/60km/hr road.. it's debatable on your share of responsibility. I got IRoad V9 2 channel. Didn't get external GPS antenna $30 bec don't want that speed log function. Probably MI will sell at higher price during the inital mth, after a mth or so, it will go back to current price lvl assuming COE is constant. Nobody talk about the face lift for a while. I was hoping to find out if there is any new information from MI, that's why asking. No I have not placed my order. Deciding whether to wait or not.... Bluemice 2nd Gear November 15, 2015 Share November 15, 2015 To be honest, it's the Power follow by the more aggressive looking Bumper styling. Other things to consider between F and FXT: - Auto tailgate - Nice looking rims - HK Speakers with Amp - Paddle shifter for more control. - Rear pull down cup holder (IIRC Premium doesn't have that) Other than that, the premium got everything covered... WD40 won't work don't waste the effort. The problem is the sound comes occasionally only, and then you try to replicate, it doesn't appear. Hi all, just signed on the dotted line for the XT.
