Reading the manual and noticed many features are optional. Does the Forester 2.0 equipped with tire pressure monitoring & tow hitch ?

Hi,

Is the front sensor useful or is it over sensitive?

I somehow like the front sensor as my previous car has shorter front. The sensor really come in handy.

And best is part of the freebies

Am trying out this door seal with my installer...will update if there's any improvements...

The door seals really shut away the wind noise effectively, probably about > 50% ! Cabin's more quiet now when travelling along expressway, haha but now start to hear wind noise from the back boot which was not noticed previously aiyo.....am doing up the door seal at the boot's door too...hope can solve the wind noise for all !

Price now is 126800. Guarantee COE. Free first three servicing, solar film.

That's abt all that you get now. No other freebies.

Anyone got a better deal after the latest COE?

Saw your earlier post that you also did SP. Can you tell easily on which is more effective to get a quieter cabin... SP or Seals. Latter obviously cheaper [:p]

Hi bro,

haha...the main reason that I did the sound proofing is for my ICE listening quality in the car, & for the speakers to project the sound out efficiently...also gives me quieter cabin too as the secondary factor. I put the door seals are mainly to reduce the wind noise...also to provide for a quieter cabin as a plus point

Mine was ok.

Could it be location? I usually located at north and west.

Did you change the speakers or kept your sound system stock but improve the sound proofing? I find the radio reception to be rather poor especially when on the move. Do you experience the same too?

Thanks :)

I changed all the speakers including the rear doors' speakers. Yup the radio reception is bad for this HU...am still thinking whether to change the HU or not...

Any bros out there who has the Alpine INE-W957E installed...?  Am thinking to change to this one...

Does the XT come with daylight running lights (DRL)?

Hi bro, No. You gotta buy online & find an installer to install it.

Thanx. I will check if MI will do it.

MI has the option for DRL ... it will cost you S$620.50 (including GST) :)

Also... you have to sign off disclaimer to install the DRL at MI

Haha.. yeah. I rather turn on my intermediate lights (not sure what's the correct term for it) and get the "C" lighted up.... that's my DRL then spend S$620 for it.

But you can get outside for 1/3 or less ... but it's the darn warranty issue

Ya, that's a good alternative too. Looks pretty good as well.

BTW, I signed on the dot with your SE. Thanx for the recommendation.

Now MI is so damn stingy with the freebies.  Didn't get much for the deal.

haha...MI's one are original LED lamps from Subaru, like those you can see on the STi version, thus cost a premium...some of the bros out there & myself installed the aftermarket one at less than $220...or maybe cheaper depending on the installer's installation charge...

Yup, it will void warranty to the lighting systems, should anything crops up in them...also, for future inspection in 3 year's time, you need to blank-off the LED lights with black tape, else inspection will fail.  Also the fear of getting summon by LTA on bikes...
