Turbocharged

With this coming from a RALLIART Turbo owner, I am going to consider this high praise.

Impressive, yet as expected of Subaru!

Still in honeymoon period so is all praises at the moment.

But the car do have it's drawbacks after driving it more that just a testdrive.

Without touching on the driving, the immediate things I frowl upon is:

- No Auto central locking. You have to central lock the car yourself.

- No Auto unlock when You open your door, you have to press "unlock" first then open the door

- No Auto mirror folding, you have to press the button to fold manually.

- No Auto window up/down for passenger windows. you have to press and hold the button to wind up and down their windows.

Yes, these are the selling point for Mit Colt many years back. Totally pampered by these feature. Too bad subaru haven't caught up with them on some of this yet.

On hindsight, these are the stuff that surprises me:

- Audio speakers are better than I thought, just need to adjust the equalizer abit for more high-note. Bass is pretty good, I actually tune down abit.

- Phone controls are pretty easy to sync. There are voice controls too

- The sunroof cover will close with the sunroof so it's not fully manual

- As mentioned, puddle lamps

- Head rest can be full adjusted forward/backwards instead if just up/down.

Have you hand over the car? If you did you make sure dealer give you the invoice statement stating the date and time you hand over the car. Make sure time is there too.

This applies for MI in case the SE forget.

Second is to check LTA online to see if car still under you. But sometimes dealer take 2 to 3 days to process but make sure ultimately the car is not under you.

Thirdly get AS to give you IU number before can so you can make the necessary arrangements in parking like your season parking, office parking and shopping mall parking redemption.

Finally, call your insurance company to inform them you change car and cancel insurance.

Thanks for the advise, this make me more comfortable to deal with dealer on selling my car. While doing some research online found some unhappy incident when selling car to 3 parties Car Dealer.

By the way getting my ride tomorrow, MI SE just called to share on this.

The first 2 are un-un-unbelievable in this day and age....are you sure?? Third one (and to a lesser extent fourth one) is quite normal. But for third one usually there is an after-market module you can add to make it auto fold. Fourth don't have means don't have.

I think I'll drive for awhile first to feel and understand the car better before I dive into mods. But probably touching more of rigidity and stability than power. The cusco and sti parts comes to mind, mid to long term plan.

Most probably doing the following first:

- redo solar film

- cosmetic mods like wrapping the grille, spoiler and side mirrors to give it a "black edition" look.

- some small custom stickers to personalize my ride.

- plastidip the rims, but the stock rims color is slowly growing in me.

once you done the solar film, please share, I want to redo as well :D

Japanese cars usually only one-press automatic for driver's window only. Contis usually have all four windows... Sounds very unimportant (can just hold for ten seconds mah....) but then you do notice how useful it is when you are trying to wind down a window while driving because of whatever reason.

Old type drink water battery is good; can last easily 4-5 years if taken care.

Alarm? So old fashion! It's useless and adds weight to car.
