My wife doesn't like all these. When she was a few years old, she stayed with her grandma for a few years when her younger siblings had to be taken care of by her mum. And the grandma flathad a bedbug infestation.

She say these type of woven baskets, rattan anything are one of their hiding spots. So there's no such materials in my home lol.

Ya, i also dont like woven type of baskets and things. I find these things can be a good hideout for insects and dont know what creatures, and also difficult to clean as the gaps can trap dust. Lol. I prefer using plastic stuff.

Wa, $300 plus for a 43 inch tv?! 😳 You loot this tv before GST up ah? 😂

Yes, at ~$10/mth (assuming that I use the TV for just 3 years with full warranty coverage), it is a no brainer purchase.

No, I am not trying to save that $3.72 extra in GST (not even enough to get a plate of decent quality chicken rice) but my 10 year old 32" Sony TV was down for >6 months and I have been looking for good lobang on and off.

Nearly bought a 42" Samsung 2 weeks ago (was quoted $500 with cash payment). Just then, my wife bought a 55" Xiaomi TV for her office (@kobayashiGT was with me when she called asking about Xiaomi and koba said good buy). After the TV was delivered and installed at her office, I went over to try it out and the rest is history.

BTW, a little strange that older model from Xiaomi has better spec than newer model. My 43" P1 (2021 model) is UHD and come with 3 HDMI port while the 2022 43" A2 unit is only FHD and has 1 less HDMI port.

For those keen to explore Xiaomi TV (via Lazada or Shopee), do note that only unit bought from Xiaomi store or authorised retailers have 3 years onsite warranty. Others selling parallel imported units only provide 1 to 2 years warranty, but there will be additional charges levied for onsite support and trouble shooting.

Oh I remember the price I bought last year for the same 43" model. It is $569 but they give a free cordless vacuum cleaner.  Somemore need to go to  the Xiaomi store to collect the vacuum cleaner.

If you buy now for $300+, that's good price.

The TV is good la.....no complains. Very sharp and nice colour.  Somemore 3 years warranty.

If the tv can last for 3 years at such price, there is nothing to complain about. Lol.
