Magfocus 5th Gear May 12, 2015 Share May 12, 2015 I got my license in 1998, since then has been driving my dad's van, then lorry then my own subaru car. always has been on manual gear. Now my car coe going to wrap up soon, i intend to look out for manual gear but if choice not so much or too expensive then i will go for a hilux or any double cab turbo diesel pick-up. i drove my GF auto gear car, very relaxing ride yet a monotonous one. To me jam is not an issue (not like the jam will last for days) because I love driving and appreciate the way I control and steer my vehicle to my desires..... *the best part of driving manual car these days is that you don't need to lend your car to anyone who has a 3A class. haha Actually having a manual is also a theft prevention system to stump manual-gearbox ignorant thieves ↡ Advertisement
Aaronlkl Supersonic May 12, 2015 Share May 12, 2015 BMW non-M can also be bought with stick shifts. Just need to DP more. 好man BMW M135i, M235i, M3 and M4 are aval in manual here in SG and its cheaper than the auto variant too Less pricy yet double the fun! Sold off my auto transmission car and went back manual and never look back ever since :) you control the car and NOT the car controlling you Driving manual you need lots of practice and subconsciously becomes part of you. Of course if you have injuries e.g knee problem driving manual isn't the best option. Having said that, yes I do realise AD do not bring in much manual transmission cars. Same here bro. I had a handful of cars before. Only one auto which I got rid off within weeks.
7hm Turbocharged May 12, 2015 Share May 12, 2015 (edited) I'm personally an auto with manual override kind of person haha but since i passed manual I kind of miss the feeling of pulling the stick into gear and clutch controlling my engine brake etc... Mueltwo 1st Gear May 12, 2015 Share May 12, 2015 I Drive Manual. I Love the Control especially during making corners. My small manual can pick up faster than most auto cars in traffic light. All my previous bikes are all 6 gears manual minimum. When I brought my first car which only have 5 gears, I kind of find it slow. But when I look at the same model auto version, they only have 4 gears....that worse. I cannot imagine driving up north in only 4 gears max. That crazy. Real Men use Three Pedals....oops...peace....haha. A Big Cheers for all Manual Drivers!

Falc 3rd Gear May 12, 2015 Share May 12, 2015 But F-1 cars now also Auto...just 2 pedals.. F1 cars are racing cars. Car enthusiasts wish for sports cars, not racing cars. The difference is racing cars are built to go fast only (period), while good sports cars allow the drivers to have fun and enjoyment in driving without having to hugely break the speed limit. That said, having driven manuals for more than a decade, it may be time to change ..... ↡ Advertisement
