@Shouyi they gonna phase out the 1.5L A3 sportback series, and promoting the 1.0L instead... so the 1.5L is gonna be a rare soon

Hi, currently driving a 2016 1.4

a3. Recently facing this problem - “gearbox - please press brake pedal and select gear again” 

 

it happen when I am accelerating from stationary after a few second, suddenly the car loses power and seems like the gear disengaged. I will need to turn off the car and turn on then can drive normally. Anyone know what is the problem and how much will it cost to fix?

should be $3.5K to $5K to replace the entire DSG mechatronics at outside workshop

Huh 3.5k sound like repair bill from PA.

Carousell got other WS offering Mechatronic replacement from 1k onwards.

i mean replace the mechatronic brand new set (not recon) + new oil + service fees ... 

if $1K better chop chop do it ... MTL !

I changed mine a year ago. All in. About 2700 before gst. Brand new. Outside workshop. You can get recon one at cheaper price. I think 1000 plus can get.
