Noticed an IOS update for the app, it says unlimited tunefiles. Does it mean it's not restricted to 3 resets? Anyone can confirm?

Turbocharged

how can I correct Turbo lag guys?

FC wise I've yet to test. Will update u guys! but somehow the tank lasted me 2/3 days more than usual.

I think with turbo lag being the problem the best solution to solve it would be to change the turbo itself to one that spools up faster. The factory turbo probably has its design specifications it can't exceed and ECU tuning usually just meddles with the controllable variables like boost pressure.

edit: wow i blur and quote some damn old post ==;

Android RsChip also just had an update, but unlike IOS version it didn't state unlimited tune files.

Anyone else tried the new android RSCHIP app?

Actually the tunefiles restriction seems to be gone. Last time there is a button to see how many tunefiles left. Now that is gone.

Tested RSChip on the dyno. No visible power gain both with and without. i'm sad to say it acts rather more like a throttle controller to my vehicle.

Venturing out of piggybacks. i went for custom tuning and in fact 2 tuners before i settled down with my current one. i Happy to say i'm very satisfied with the results.

40% Power gain over factory set ups

Hi bro, maybe you want to email your dyno report to RSchip and see what they reply.

So where you done your tuning...Good result.

These graphs and your nick looks very familiar. If you aren't really a RSCHIP user before, don't do this here. It challenges your integrity on what you have claimed about other tuners vs your one and only favourite tuner. Doesn't look good on you as a person. Means you aren't very honest in what you claimed against other tuners in other forums too and makes you look absolutely like an advertiser for your favorite tuner.

I think don't bother engaging him. I found his nickname and Dyno graphs familiar and went to do some digging up again. Indeed I was right. Not a very honest review he has shared here. Based on what he posted in other forums (using these exact same graphs), he never once mentioned he was using RSCHIP. Instead, he mentioned he was on another tune and he used the same story about how the other tune didn't give him power gains at all and he was only interested to tell others about his preferred tuning shop. I've also read the same methods used by this particular tuning shop and his customers in other forums pulling the same tactics to smear other tunes and advertise their own. If you see this graphs, take it with a pinch of salt.

PS: It's really sad. This is a forum to share. If results are genuinely bad, it's ok to share but making up stories to smear others for personal benefits is just not right at all. And worst still, other forumers get misinformed by fake stories!

Thanks for the enlightenment.

Yup, totally agreed with you that this forum is to share genuinely good & bad of product or services.

FYI: RSchip has new update to fix the bugs for IOS and Andriod yesterday.

When I updated the new version for IOS before CNY, I had problem connecting to my RSchip.

I went back to the shop I bought from in March last year and tested with an andriod phone also cannot connect.

So they exchange a new set for me because is still under warranty.

I think is the apps that causes the chip to malfunction. My lesson learned from this incident, only connect to the chip when engine is idling or stationary and try not to update status when is moving.
