Any GPS app for my UK holiday?

Am going on self-drive holiday around UK.

 

Is there any good Andriod App that will work without wifi, just on GPS signal ?

 

Or

 

How can i buy/get a UK Map for my current GarminGPS ?

if you are using iphone, tomtom europe

i have not encountered any good navi apps for android

hence, all my drive holiday i use tomtom for iphone

alternatively, upon arriving UK purchase the best value prepaid data SIM card and use google maps

Try Sygic for android. Download at play store. Interface quite user friendly.

No need data.

If you know the underground way, can get 'free' sygic with all the maps to any country.... Only not available is north Korea ..hehe...

Any long as you got access to the "full version" of sygic, installing any maps is not an issue
