Yeah, ACS will be ACS.

It is not a school for everybody and it definitely isn't out to please everybody either.

BTW, I am not from ACS.

I know it is not apt but some parents shd need to do background check bfore sendg their kids to 星星学校 bfore they kena KO by stuff like donation, enrichment, overseas trip etc.

I hv a fren who send her DD to one in Bt Timah where this sch is closely monitored by newspaper. Sch Teachers expected the gers to go to Branded Enrichment center n they shd come to school w foundation of subjects firmly established. Sch focus is on academic n not holistic.

Ended up one day she cannot take it anymore when security officer barred her from gg to sch to see Teacher just bcos my fren didn't drive that day. Subsequently, transferred her ger out.

Really? Maybe it becos it is a long walk into the school (from the gate), so the security prefer she takes a vehicle in...... [confused]

When i was a student, every time have to pay up on my own and fake some names.

Please tell me this is the spirit of donation, when you are forcing numbers on a kid.

No offence but this is one school I will never enrol my son even if I am a believer. If you have to push the kids to contribute more, I rather the kids be "encouraged" to do more foc voluntary work at needy places. A voluntary heart is not measured by how much you can raise unless it is a donation drive to contribute to the needy, which in this case may not be. My personal opinion only.

For some people, solving the world's problems all revolve around money.

If a problem can be solved with money, it's not a problem anymore.

You have no money, that's a problem.
