The terrorists like ISIS etc initially funded by Saudi, Qatar and the other Sunni countries lah! Cos Assad is pro-Iran (Shite).... just like Yemen now. Nothing to do with the Ang Moh this time round. In fact Obama IQ very high, not getting involved with ground troops as it will never end - Muslims fight non-Muslim, then Sunnis Muslims fight Shite Muslims, then Sunnis fight Sunnis.... It's also about tribal clashes within a region that was just demarcated along lines that was divided up when the ottoman empire was on the losing side of WW1, and subsequently further division post WW2. But since the dawn of time, there has been multiple clashes in the middle east. From the time of the bible and to the great muslim empires of the earlier ages. The ottoman empire faced multiple insurrections during the course of their history as well even though they were Muslim conquerors. In short, a thousand years from now, the middle east will still be fighting. Sad for the people in syria, but best thing is just to leave them alone.
