Ommph Clutched March 31, 2015 Share March 31, 2015 Hi All Bro and Sis, My 9yrs old skoda has been trembling rather badly recently and today, it finally stalled. But after a while, it was ok again but the trembling continue. Anyone has such issue before? Any reliable workshop to recommend? Thanks in advance! ↡ Advertisement

Retro Clutched March 19, 2019 Share March 19, 2019 Just my personal experience. My Octy was towed to workshop in Premier and the 'experience mechanic' immediately identified that belt burst. Good cause I can see too. Without further checking he confirmed Alternator, starter, bearing also spoil

Without further checking he confirmed Alternator, starter, bearing also spoil ð Will cost about 2k only to repair. Wasn't satisfied, I towed out to another workshop in Ubi Techpark and was diagnosed that it's merely a belt burst due to leaking gasket. Final bill? Less than half a grand! Moral of the story, don't trust noobie who's 'good' only installing aftermarket stuff. Good experience not to anyhow try out those 'bro' shops ð Could you share this reliable workshop for future reference? ↡ Advertisement
