What a list. Someone who can garner such support in international stage. Only one name I am curious. Thaksin?

Do not ask me the source of this list. Probably will be release to the media later on.

Thaksin and current PM of Thai will be coming. So will Thaksin be bought back to Thailand?

Turns out Straits Times had also misinterpreted Low Thia Khiang’s Mandarin tribute to Lee Kuan Yew

March 27, 2015

Just that they simply deleted the tweet. Shhhhhh.

as i queued under the shaded tentages, my heartfelt thanks goes to the many volunteers who are standing out there under rain and shine for this last journey Of mr lee.

i have never felt more loved by my nation and the news of people going out of the way to help other singaporeans have moved me. in the few hours i have waited, i have seen many acts of kindness. A lady walked a few metres to pass a lady with a child in tow an umbrella. An elderly man helping to walk another elderly stranger to the train station as he held her hand. There must have been many others i have missed.

Mr Lky would have been proud to see a singapore this united.

Salute to those that are queueing now.

Those who are bent on reaching before it ends can have :

Reported on radio, queue now is 9 hrs...

The actual time it takes to reach the parliament house is actually shorter that the official estimate.

I started my queue from cityhall this morning at 4.40am and i was out of parliament house at 8.55am, a total of 4 hours and 15 mins. The official estimated time was 8 hours then. My colleague reached the venue at the same time but he joined the queue at the Esplanade side (near SRC) which is much shorter. He completed the queue in 2.5 hours. Hope the info helps to those who still insist on going despite the announcement by the govt not to join the queue. My wife and I were the stubborn one.

Someone in Facebook share the route where we will walk to parliament house.

It will give a good idea roughly how long it will take to queue at certain point.

The coverage area is huge. Even if normal walking speed also need about 1hr. Kudos to those who queued and also the manpower needed to make such big coverage area to be well taken care off is no easy task.

I went to pay my last respect to the Great Grand Founding Father last night. I joined the crowds at the Starting Points next to Raffles City @ 11.30 pm, and It took us 2.5 hrs from the Starting Points to arrive at the Holding Area b'ços of the huge crowds. At the Holding Area, the crowds were then channeled into Priority Q and Normal Q. As I was in the Priority Q which is a shorter route to the Security Checking Points, It took about 20 minutes including the waiting time at the Holding Area, to reach the Parliament House where the body of late Mr LKY was lying.

When I left for home at about 3.30 am, there were still lots of people at the Padang.

For those who want to drive there in the late night, you can park your car in Raffles City Car Park and join the crowds infront Raffles City’s Mcdonald.

Note: The car Park may be full, as I waited almost 15 mins to enter the car park last night.

Priority Q is for the elderly and those with kids.

Hi bro, any idea if the car park closes at a certain time or it remains open? Thanks!

The car park operates 24 hours. Same as the Esplanade and Marina Square where more vacant lots can be found. Better try Esplanade and see if the shorter queue is still there.
