This gesture is better than all your company marketing efforts combined.

Hydrocarbon Turbocharged March 25, 2015 Share March 25, 2015 I gib many points this week Most of them in this thread.. For all the sharings.. I would like to bring up to the mods or admin, could they lift the 150 characters limit on the praises? I would like to thank more of those who shared with personal comments.. @Radx @babyblade.. I don't know who else to bring this up to... Thank you. Before this, when I read all these nasty remarks, how that HHH previously kept asking him to die, and seems like many people agree, I thought I was the minority that respected LKY for what he had done, and majority hated him. Now I realised the majority respected him, just that the majority has been quiet all these while. My conspiracy theory is that Opp Parties have planted people in the HWZ forums to whack the Govt on everything. Empty vessel makes the most noise.. My family, we all respect Mr LKY. We were just not vocal about it.. HHH, Kenneth J, TRS, all making a lot of noise. Doesn't mean everyone listens to them. LKY doesn't need to speak, and everyone will sit still and listen. The expectations of the Pioneer generation were much simpler. :" to educate the people, to house the people, and to unite them, not divided across racial lines." But it was a miracle all these were achieved. Now we want good, cheap and tua neh neh. *Cheaper, faster, better... Sorry for OT... But thanks to all who've shared articles.. I didn't do work today, was reading this thread, and the other articles about LKY. I've had respect for him as long as I could remember.. After these few days, my respect grew immensely (something that I didn't think was possible), but now, I have more than just respect. I have a love for him and what he did for us. His brain, his intellect, his courage, and most importantly, his heart for us. For Singapore.

Jayy25 6th Gear March 25, 2015 Share March 25, 2015 Should do this after the mourning period ... its a matter of time All these stuff will appear. At least it goes to charity as pointed out by one of the folks here, they claimed as tax rebates....which i reckon will be alot since they making use of this situation to drum up the sales. well.. it is a good initiative but then $2 for a bun seem over-hype... if they are really into charity work, they can do 1 more step further like free buns for those queuing up to pay their last respect to LKY and for every bun given out, they will donate $2 bucks/buns to charity..... Some praises I want to be anonymous (For dislikes, I always leave my name). Besides, it's easier to type in the praise box. It's just something I wanted to bring up for a while, but this thread really brought along that feeling, so I thought I'd just feedback. Sorry for the OT.

BabyBlade Internal Moderator March 25, 2015 Share March 25, 2015 Fr friend working at PM office sent me this message awhile ago, so I thought it would be be beneficial for all of us who love our late Mr Lee KY. Do Not wear Black on Sunday. Please read the text below : I don't think there's a need to wear all black.. The standardised attire at istana is actually white top and black bottoms (navy blue not counted). The wearing of all black seems to be an individual movement to me. PAP's colour is 'white' representing 'purity', integrity & 'cleanliness'. I believe our Founding Father MM Lee Kuan Yew would love to see us Singaporeans wear 'white' also while some may chose to wear black. All the photos show in the TV n newspaper. The Lee's family n everyone in the government sector are wearing white or light plain color , no all black so far. It means we shouldn't wear black on Sunday cos some people are trying to imply that LkY passing is the beginning of "gloomy days for Singapore. Just wear light pale colours, don't need all black. Visualise 5 million people wearing black, how black (dark) will Singapore be. ↡ Advertisement
