Guys i did mention in the new Altis thread that im very angry when so many switl marks left on the car after 1k servicing. This only 1k alrdy like this, cant imagine whats gng to happen after we send in 2nd, 3rd and so for.

Was at alexandra village and chance upon an shop seling lots of led or halogen lights from philips and osram. Also better quality led at $11. Those from philips and osram cos 30-50 range as they r of better quality then china one. Philip is made in taiwan. will try to source our more cos uncle told me he got it frm supplier.

His shop name and address:

Five luck enterprise

Blk 127, bukit Merah lane1. #01-226

Tel: 62748446, 62781133

Uncle is very helpful in answering my questions. Dnt knw if the price is cheapest but he service well

Hmm. Something bad abt RV? Vincent Mong is their boss. Looks like nice chap. If service is not good, l wish to knw. Hehe

Swirl marks is it caused by them washing your car?

Next service tell them no washing of car

Lets see whats their response first.

Btw i read from an old thread on the bars for stability, it will sacrifice comfort over performance which i think quite not worth it. Will try to read more before i check e-rev.

Forgot abt this. I ask abt upgrading of hu. BM says they only the gps which is SD card in the HU. Can only change once in 3 yrs. Once updated, next change will cost ard $300 if i heard correctly.

Dent and scratch to claim within 1 yr from date of issue. Note that bumpers and roof top is not covered.

1 free Wax and 1 free polishing cns be claimed with 2 yrs from.date of issue.

HI Bro, whats your current HU model? I had a big wooha with BM with regards of the HU sia........till date, still pissed off as i felt short-changed.

Bro, can share what happened?

Hi Bro, i believe you can find it in this forum sometime back in June or July last year. I made a big wooha and even email directly to their CEO. All in all, i can only say it was super frustrating and a very expensive lesson to pay for

I am thinking of doing these 3 upgrades soon:

1) Upgrade to 17" rims and tyres
- 1 thing I can't stand is the high wheel arch, does upgrading to bigger rim helps aesthetically?
- Chance upon the 17" new rim at the motor show with Michelin PS3, looks really nice.
- Maybe getting Michelin PS3 or XM2

2) 2-CH Car Camera with battery
- BlackVue or iRoad or ThinkWare?
- A lot of mixed reviews for diff brands after doing my research.
- Looks like there is no one single brand or model that is risk/trouble free.

3) Solar Film
- 3M Crystalline or?
- Not sure if to upgrade cos my prev ride was using vKool and did not encounter any problem.
- The basic 3M film that is FOC seems inferior to me. Maybe pain 1 time and install a premium one.

Any comments or advice are welcome.  [:)]

get the thinkware one. it's cheaper than blackvue. read quite a number of -tive comments on bv like overheat and foggy lens.

that's my 2 cents. also, there's no need to get additional cell-b6 or power pack for think ware camera.

you changing to which rims? - trd or you getting from workshop outside.

we have a whatsapp group for altis owners. pm or post ur contacts here then we can expand our group    [laugh]    :a-good:

Based on the recent motorshow, price between ThinkWare and BlackVue are almost identical.

I hold my purchase for dashcam 1st as I read ThinkWare came out with F770 this year but not released yet.

I haven't changed yet. Just intend to. Most likely will go outside tyre shop to see rims.

But 17" really not much diff and 18" def impact FC?

I am still on my 1st couple of hundred KMs, FC on dashboard meter is slightly <12km/l.
