Kklee 6th Gear July 24, 2015 Author Share July 24, 2015 most people do no.1, I normally change to N at my last few km/h so i can stop more gently (less of the "pull back" feel) then continue to hold brakes. Sometimes I will pull handbrake then release footbrake... sometimes I end up holding the footbrake even if I pull up my handbrake. Nah, don't ask, I'm just weird. 7hm Turbocharged July 24, 2015 Share July 24, 2015 I thot CVT. Anyway, conventional AT can do a lot of stuffs and still survive. Latest Altis should be CVT. My car is not an Altis, nor is it at all latest. Though I believe previous generation of Altis is also 4-speed automatic.

No choice, this month like got 2x the points, aiming for 9600 smiles points. Anyone changed tyres yet? Any recommendations? My previous ride was on Michelin XM2 which last me for 30,000km before I change to Altis... As the tyre is from Thailand, I thought Altis would have been fitted with XM2 but it's not. Anyway my next tyre will be XM2. My experience with this tyre so far is good.

Yes XM2 is very good, used it for my current Altis. Quiet and low rolling resistance. Dry and wet grip also quite decent. It is a good all-around tyre.

It is a good all-around tyre. I have been using XM2 for my previous car and within a week of getting my Altis, I could not stand the shitty Dunlop tyres(no offence to those with them), I change to XM2. It's quiet, high roll resistant and perform brilliantly on SG wet weather condition. It's may be expensive but safety is worth more than a restaurant meal. Priority in safety rather than changing to some fancy rims. Edited August 7, 2015 by Mulberrypork ↡ Advertisement
