Pss2 2nd Gear March 16, 2015 Share March 16, 2015 Does anyone knows why in general an used C200 is same or higher price than a E200 based on similar registration date? C200 has much lower OMV too. ↡ Advertisement

Wt_know Supersonic March 16, 2015 Share March 16, 2015 it's all about what buyer want ... what the market want ... they can price e above c all they want if the e is not selling they have to price it competitive or else let it rot in used car dealer carpark
Furrynadz 5th Gear March 16, 2015 Share March 16, 2015 usually for same price, u get a "newer" c by a few mth to 1 year, depend on mileage did the sums and paper value and after try both, i went for the e
serenade 6th Gear March 16, 2015 Share March 16, 2015 2007 was year of the C W204 which was a new model at that year, going against the near end-of-live E class W211. Also are the cars both C&C cars? C&C cars have a premium when comes to resale. W211 did suffer from a bad reputation by MB standards and this could be a contributing factor. It is a different story when you compare the W204 vs E W212 registered in 2010. Where the W212 has a significantly higher price as was the year W212 was introduced. Damienic 5th Gear March 16, 2015 Share March 16, 2015 E class wise, I can only accept the current design with the mercs logo embossed onto the grille. The previous one with the big small eye is hideous and ah pek to me.

Jamesc Hypersonic March 16, 2015 Share March 16, 2015 C class is better looking and you always have to pay more for good looks. That makes the E class better value if you don't mind the looks.
Optramagnum 6th Gear March 17, 2015 Share March 17, 2015 In 2007, I remember my dad bought a C class, but was mocked by his work neighbors that it's meant for women(small size). Due to his strong ego, He immediately changed to E class 2 weeks later. I think if the prices are similar, majority will go for the larger size as a more practical choice. but personally I prefer C class as it's more sporty. I'm surprised by you. I would have expected a comparison like choosing to date your neighbour's hot young 19 year old daughter (C class) vs the elder sister who is a pleasant but homely looking 25 year old (E class). That's more befitting of you ↡ Advertisement
