Hi would like to know which services center is best to go for servicing

 

you can pretty much go to any ws that you trust for your servicing, i presume you still have servicing package under authorized dealers?

Been disappointed with TC BT even thought their package is pretty good value.

 

front right knocking sound been feed back to them pass 4 service, still same.

 

Last visit told them air corn after driving a while vent seems to get blocked but they say no problem found. After asking around experience aircon expert it's icing issue. I verify that with off the aircon for a while and the air comes back.

 

End up car comes back with rattling sound from dash board. I thought it's from my HU. Only last weekend, while I try to figure out why I found a screw driver under my dashboard front passenger sit side. Didn't know there's "free gift" service there lolz.

I'm also booking their servicing package for a piece of mind. Hearsay that during the 5 years warranty if say u service outside anything wrong they can say it's the work shop outside that caused it and they will not be covered under the warranty.

Hi, i would love too. I currently still left with one more svc package. Assuming if you able to transfer me the 3 x svc package, how much is it? Kindly PM me the price.

I have been scammed and cheated. Signed up service package with them but they are not true to their service package. They suppose to change the coolant but they just top up the coolant. If it's not from my own eyes to see, I do not believe that tan chong has this type of standard.

Can give more details?

If you are on the NPMP or saver program which covers 4 servicings (40000km/2 years), the coolant will only be replaced once within that package. Rest of the time just top up.

My observation after servicing my Nissan with Tan chong for 8 years and outside workshops for 2 years: They will top up with actual Nissan coolant (blue). Outside workshop mostly top up with tap water. I am not saying this is wrong.

Hi yes I'm on the service package (40000/2 year). because the last round i went to service the service advisor said your next round servicing we will need to change your coolant it's in the package. Which means this round I go for my servicing I will get the coolant change wish my mileage is 80 +. Which is stated in the package C. And on the day service I did double confirm with the service advisor this route is changing coolant he say yes change coolant.

I think I am missing details in your post. The SA said will change coolant, and they did not. How did you know they did not change? You found out after leaving the centre?

Then you can tell the SA, since he promised it will be changed? Do you still have another round of servicing remaining in the package? Can still have them change the coolant next round.

The reason why I preferred to go Bt Timah service centre where I can see what they are doing. No action was taken even though I had feedback to them many times (3rd servicing recently). Even after the servicing, they will follow up with phone call and I had feedback to them also no use, and hung up on me before I finish talking. I'm trying my way to contact their principal to hope that they will act on it.

Standing around the shop to observe the mechanics doing their task is a risk not worth taking. In the even if you are hurt due to an accident , who's insurance will cover you.

Don’t want to start new thread, I understand something major is brewing at Tan Chong. Huge changes internally etc…
