queenofoeb Clutched July 27, 2016 Share July 27, 2016 Anyone having difficulty adjusting their driver seat? Got the car for a month but still can't locate the right position. End up lots of backache....There are 2 knobs on the right hand side of the driver's seat. One is for height and the other is for inclination of the seat's back. Bubibubu, i was offered the test drive car. So price is diff from what is listed on the price list, given few K discount.I'm curious. Why would you buy the test drive unit? ↡ Advertisement

7hm Turbocharged July 30, 2016 Share July 30, 2016 I noticed the driver seat also slanted outward toward the side glass. Anyone notice that? if this is the case for all units of 308 and not a defect on yours, it is an indication that they didn't mirror the layout properly, same like Mercedes (steering wheel, pedals offset angled outwards, especially awful when you extend the wheel to max). Wouldn't be surprising, since they blocked up the glove box with the fuse box.
Tunge 1st Gear July 30, 2016 Share July 30, 2016 I'm curious. Why would you buy the test drive unit? Hmmm... Other than the possibility that the test drive unit is the last in stock of a particular color that buyer wants... There can only be one reason... It's cheaper. Your question should be how much discount did the buyer get for the test drive unit as compared to a brand new set.

I am consider to own.. Thanks I suggest you do after market upgrade as this smeg+ head unit is difficult to meddle with unlike others such as VW with tons of technical guide online. One thing I learnt is buy everything and not mod the car thereafter . It is more expensive to mod than buying it in the first place. Warranty is another issue to tackle with any aftermarket mod. toycamry 1st Gear August 24, 2016 Share August 24, 2016 Anyone selling or planning to sell your 308, 2 to 3 years of COE left, pls PM me. Looking for maximum 2 owners, mileage not more than 130k km. I will pay more than what dealer can offer, but less than how much dealer will sell it for. Cash deal at LTA counter.
guolian Neutral Newbie August 29, 2016 Share August 29, 2016 Hi All, currently considering buying a new car. 308SW really stands out with her features but I'm having doubts on the reliability. Was wondering if the owners can comment on their experience so far? im also looking at Wish but there's really nothing apart from toyota reliability...By the way, is the fuel consumption really 19.2km/L as advertised? What do you guys thing? Fuel savings and road tax, competitive pricing worth the plunge?
Spawnstar 1st Gear August 29, 2016 Share August 29, 2016 Expect somewhere between 12km/l - 14km/l and you will be fine . Reliability still an issue and most of the parts are also on back order . The parts department don't believe in keeping much spare so it may take up to 2 months for the non critical parts to arrive. Check out the new 3008 which is coming in Q1 if you are not in a rush . As for the SW , ask for a long test drive ( >45 min) and you will find that not many car at this price point can match its "power". So if you really like the car and want to buy it , make sure you get it as low as possible . Knock off another 3-4k from the quoted price with all the freebies should be ok . Spiker08 Neutral Newbie August 30, 2016 Share August 30, 2016 Own this car for 2 mths already, so far so good... can't really comment much on reliability as most of the cars are less than 2 yrs old. Go with yr heart when deciding what to buy after u have narrowed down yr search. It is definitely a fun car to drive esp overtaking.
