light output from bi-xenon projects further than LED can do though the latter can scatter lights wider with custom glass lens to scatter light source.

CLA200 bi-xenons from C&C, no way is brighter than 308.

So, a question for the current owners or 308 and 308SW who have the panoramic roof. Do you feel the heat coming into the car on the sunny day excessive even with the fabric shade covering stretched across the panoramic roof? I am deciding if I should buy one with or without panoramic roof. Thx so much.

I'm getting about 14km/l, 50% HW 50% City. Only 3 weeks old. I believe once EO is changed to synthetic, it should improve.

I bought the 16" trim because it should give better ride comfort. All those features like park assist I don't really need. From the test drive car, I could sense heat coming through the glass roof even with the roof shade so no thanks.

So far I'm enjoying this car greatly, very quiet and smooth.

Hi Jango, just curious...why would you say 16 inch wheel would give better ride comfort than 17 inch wheel ? Care to share your wisdom ? Thx

I am driving 308sw with roof..

personally I don't feel hot or sweat while driving in hot sunny day with blind out..

the light come into the cabin is bearable and you feel so roomy and bright, I suppose most UV rays are block by the glass and 3M.

but if I were to park at open carpark in hot sunny day, I will always blind the shade...

but still when come back, the interior is still very hot, especially these few days with heatwave coming Singapore, the cabin temp can go as high as 49 degree... [flowerface]  [flowerface]  [flowerface]

Haha... We collected it at 10am that morning. Saw numbers of cars ready for collection too. Anyway we are planing to drive up to Malacca in one of the weekend to try out his new baby.

I collected mine at 1pm..if you happen to see a Rubis Red parking there.. [:p]

Yes...unleash the lion power inside the Pug...zoom and enjoy your trip to Malacca.

I also want to try NS highway and try the stability at top speed...but just too busy lately.. [drivingcar]

More cushion so naturally a softer ride. I would expect slightly better FC too.

Best is go and test drive it yourself on a hot afternoon.

Shame that it's difficult to find a CLA with ILS.

Xenon bulbs are typically brighter in actual, but the due to the use of multiple LEDs and appropriate lens design, LED beam light can be wider, better fill and higher max brightness. Really depends on the design.

My car is using adaptive LED and the fill/beam spread is super impressive... Very bright too.

Think about it this way... in a bi-xenon headlamp, all light comes from a single bulb and depends purely on the reflector/projection lens to shape the light into a beam. And if the bulb blows, the whole headlamp is gone.

With an LED system, the periphery illumination could be derived from additional LEDs, while the main part of the beam is another set of LEDs... and the chance of all LEDs dying at once is low.

Sounds of all doors quite solid, u mean only your driver door sounds like Jap car?

Simple; a smaller rim means a thicker tyre, which means more rubber and air supporting the car as opposed to more metal. Thicker tyres would typically provide more of a "cushioning" effect.

16" or 17" shouldn't make much diff, is all depend on e design of the car suspension, for France car they usually design for comfort. The greatest diff is e saving of 4K n forgo a lot of gadgets n accessories, especially the grass roof that made the car compartment much brighter n roomy, during night the effect is even greater, especially by the beach with your love one, the rest I leave it to your imagination.
