Anyone knows which center is more reliable to go for used car evaluation before purchase

I went to AA as I could not find any positive reviews on STA and Vicom in the forum. Riverview Auto at AMK Autopoint also offers used cars evaluation.

Any experienced drivers out there that can advise.

Recently put deposit for car, dealer provided free STA check.

Read online the STA checks are not that comprehensive, so wanted to send to AA to check.

Today STA report come out everything is fine with no failures.

Should i still go ahead with the AA check? or would the STA check suffice.

Personally I see that AA Car Evaluation do more comprehensive checks, worth to consider if you do not know anyone from car workshop who can help you.

Even you know anyone from a car workshop who help you, it will be quite hard to find someone who can check both chassis/bodywork and mechanical (engine and transmission).

Moreover not every mechanic will be familiar with every single make and model.

I will consider AA Car Evaluation Service.

A car will cost you a substantial sum, if you have doubt, might as well send it to AA for a check to have a peace of mind.
