hi Bro,

took my new Qashqai to Malacca, Malaysia.

fanstatic car, no regret, here are my ratings. Comfort, Performace,F/C score 5/5.

i can't imagine i am driving a 1.2 litres car. it meets al my expectation, fomerly driving Honda CL-7.

at speed of 120km/hour, no wind noise at all.

Nissan too gave a very attractive deals; unlimited mailage warranty, etc.

Bought from Sales Consultant, Ms Susan LIM, Tan Chong Sales at Bukit Timah branch, and she would assit you.

Hi Guys,

I was thinking of changing my ride to either a QQ or a Vezel. But i wanted my ride to have a moonroof which both of these rides dont equpped with it. QQ only 2.0 comes with moonroof.

Vezel, Sg do not carry the vesion with sunroof ;(.

Any other similar car with moonroof that u guys can recommend?

My ideal ride is Toyota Harrier but the price is too steep........

What is your requirement?

Your ideal is Harrier but it's 2.0, a CAT B

QQ CAT A no moonroof, but CAT B have but you don't seem to want a 2.0

You looking for a CAT A with moonroof? dun think have, unless it's not an SUV.

Since now Cat B price almost like Cat A, you can look at the Ford Kuga. It's got a HUGE sunroof, can open one.

It's a Cat B due to the 1.5 Turbo engine having more that 130hp, but maintenance wise will be like a CAT A as it's 1.5, road tax cheaper too. It's a small turbo so maintenance is not too bad, 1.5 turbo is a fuel sipper too, you'll be surprise the turbo helps in saving fuel for such a heavy frame.

Only drawback is the badge as Ford's resale is very bad.

Hi, Are these cars real SUV? Are they capable of going off road and rugged terrain? Any videos or can anyone verify on this? Or these cars 're for show and purely marketing only since "suv" appears to be a trend now.

Vezel, HR-V, QQ, Juke and many more. All this are just pretend SUVs. They behave like normal cars and have no offroad capability. They are basically "lifestyle" cars.

To qualify a vehicle as an SUV, the car must have limited offroad capability, like some form of AWD system and high ground clearance.

A true offroader would have 4x4 or 4wd for full off-road capability. But 4x4 sucks in normal roads. Like a SAF rover.

are you sure you need a real SUV? once you really got one don't cry retain cost and FC high, :D

yes, these are not real SUVs, only high ground clearance city crossover, it satisfy those who want to enjoy suv view but only spending sedan cost, it will be a trend worldwide not only Singapore,

however if really want to try off road adventure, rent a full size SUV lah, much cheaper than buy one and retain 10 years, maybe never used its offroad 4x4 function with the 10 years :omg:

Not exactly sedan cost, it's still less fuel efficient if compared to a sedan or a hatch. And the interior size is more akin to a sedan than a SUV. Some sedan actually has bigger boot than the crossovers.

So yeah, crossovers are pretend SUVs and lifestyle cars that will certain attract the masses..

One who seek for new thrill and rugged hobby such as going for off roads in msia may end up purchasing the wrong "suv".

don't worry, the purpose that they purchase those "suv" purpose is not for off roads adventure, it's only give them a high view especially for those lady drivers getting more confident :D

Saw in YouTube that other countries does have the HRV and QQ in all-wheel-drive version, seems to perform quite ok in forest areas...

My current car expiring in 3 years time, so currently looking at the options out there. My range was initially limited to sedan, but crossover seems interesting as the price and fuel consumption is similiar as typical sedan.

Another push factor for crossover is the seat height would benefit elderly person especially if they having weak legs issue (like my mom), normal sedan the seating is too low and they will have dificulties getting out. Ideal seat height is between mid-thigh and lower buttocks according to experts, and crossovers seems to have the ideal seat height.

Reference of vehicle features which is elderly friendly: http://www.aaa.com/aaa/006/Automotive/SFMD-VehicleListv6.pdf

Wah owned the QQ for 1.5 mths... DISAPPOINTED!!!

Why disappointed? Please elaborate, thanks.

I have my reservations on the long term reliability of a small capacity turbo engine sitting in a big body car whereby the capacity of the naturally aspirated engine is at least 1800cc to 2000cc.

Other examples include the VW Passat, Chevy Orlando, Ford Kuga.

The engine is dependent on the turbo to move the car. What are the long term implications and sustainability of steroids?
