Just found some one post the link.

I saw another video on SUV uphill test. All SUV fail and roll back except XT can go over! [/quote

Compared apple to apple. Subaru xv to qq. Xt is a different class. Disclaimer I am not a particular fan of subaru. Used to owe the older g of forester. Find inside too plasticky. No offence but no doubt the eng is power. Fc also suffers.

When you are driving from small road and turn out to main road, do you need a fast pick up?

I was inside the car in Malaysia.

Confirms 200KM/hr. You go and test drive the XT then you will know what is TURBO.

It is very difficult to talk to some one who don't know about subaru car.

Hi forestman

You are probably right about QQ 1.2T being "underpowered" as compared to Subaru XV. After all, have been driving my QQ 1.2T for 4 months and been onto NS Highway a couple of times and never managed to reach 200kmh (scared la...don't wanna miss the rest stop mah...if not need to go toilet then how ?)

Having said that, have seen some cars raced past me when I was doing 150kmh...they went so fast I couldn't tell what cars they were...so if you are right then those cars must have been Subaru XVs....hmmm... impressed.

Lastly, knowing my "bad luck" when it comes to driving...even if I have gotten a Subaru XV which can go 200kmh and brought it onto the NS Highway, I would most likely end up being stuck behind a "slow" QQ 1.2T doing only 150kmh...sigh...

Would be good enough to do 150km/h if it's quiet, stable and safe....

I think forestman may be referring to forester. Not xv. I tried xv and its underpowered.

Dangerous with underpower car? Do you drive? I think most car accidents in Singapore happen with the more "powerful" cars where people start to imagine they are F1 drivers, lol.

Slow drivers think they're being safe but more often than not, they're the most dangerous hazards on the road!

Yes. I must agreed the statement 200%!

Yalor, Agreed! even a Nissan march or Viky 700 also can run at 150KM/h but what is the condition of the car at that moment?

For the past weeks, i been seeing many vezels on the road as compared to qq. Does it mean that sales of vezel>qq?

definitely! Vezel look so much nicer than QQ.

It is Honda!

I think it is mainly because the price and performance(on paper) of Vezel wins over QQ. I think I will go for Vezel too.

Don't think so, I think it's the pricing ... Diff of Around 15k is not small amount...

There is a difference between underpowered cars and slow cars. Even Ferrari can drive slow and become a hazard.

Nissan's engine over honda engine.. reliability??

TBH Vezel over QQ in terms of looks.. Ive seen lots of QQ around... the front still loses out to the sexiness of the V..

Question is how can a 1.2Turbo have better fuel efficiency? A big car at 1.2l u need a turbo engine to boost the power of the car (power to weight ratio) So isn't using more power translate to more FC?

Even when the V came out at 1.5l.. i was skeptical about the power, until i read the forums abt it...

Just my thoughts..

imo the Vezel's front end is ugly, even compared to the Qashqai. But the Vezel looks good from side and rear angles. I just cannot find myself liking the front with the bulbous 'cheeks' and foglamp surrounds. I like the rear end though. Qashqai is just... meh, doesn't really strike me much. It looks OK but doesn't stand out.

The Qashqai's 1.2 turbo is a low-pressure turbo. The turbo is used to increase low RPM power and provide wider and stronger torque spread, while making the power of a 1.5~1.6L engine. The result is lower fuel consumption than most 1.5Ls in typical situations but power available more quickly if you are in a rush.

Just add a mugen front bumper bodykit to vezel...it may change the outlook completely. I just cant feel the qq turbo rush and felt its a bit underpowered on slopes. But i like qq built quality. Edited by Andyngps

The Mugen kit looks... I don't know, I can't decide if I think it looks worse or better.

Qashqai's turbo is not there for the "turbo rush"... turbo lag is normally something people don't like.
