and you even supported them by using HEV as your nickname. :)

AND...what does it mean by "workshop specialised in hybrid" ?

Show me the specialised diagnostic equipment for each hybrid model in the market  and I will believe.

Show me a member of the staff with automotive electrical engineering background and I will believe.

Anyone can say they are specialised in anything. My butcher specialised in pork belly only.

These 2 cars are the most seen on the road today. If you visit any PI, nearly everyone has a few Vessel waiting for buyer. Not sure if they need to cheap sale for over stock haha

Both are nice but I feel 1.2 for that kind of body, NIssan is always under powering their car which also make it poor FC.

Can anyone explain how Turbo works? From what I know, it didn't help with power for low speed/rpm. So if you have full load at low speed, how is the performance of this car?

Bro test drive 3 of them and my butt feel tell me 1st choice qq2.0 2nd will be Vezel and 3rd qq1.2..

Turbo cut in for 1.2qq is 1750rpm which my so call friend SE working there told me when I went for test drive that time.. So far I didn't try full load though but that time my wife siting behind told me like not very good leh the pickup.. She know if I buy I sure won't drive for long if I get the qq1.2 I sure make noise later on haha whereby the qq2.0 is great but due to my pocket didn't manage to get the qq2.0

In the end rather take Vezel over the 1.2qq

That time test drive the hrv pickup is quite smooth and that car was only SOHC.. So the Vezel confirm better then HRV as they are using the DOHC and higher spec than the AD.. A pity no chance to test drive the Vezel hybrid as I read from forum that their pickup are better..

My 2cents..

Making bold statements but at the same time admitting ignorance. Heard of the not very famous GTR?

Not much experience with Nissan. Bought a sunny and drove for 5 years. That was my only experiences. FC and power definitely poor and sound proofing when raining also bad. Pro- big body.

FC and power poor, you still managed to drive it for 5 years eh?! Lol.

Well that is my review of the car. I changed to a Chevrolet Optra and the FC is equally bad but better power. I drove for another 5 years I think.

FC is factual. Comfort and style are subjective and individual. Of course some people like a particular brand and will support it all the way regardless of their performance. Sure, that is also OK you know.

Turbos are aiding engine combustion by recycling exhaust air and forcing it in the combustion chamber for a better combustion. The lower the RPM, the slower the flow of the exhaust air to the turbo charger, means you will experience low power boost, or commonly termed as "turbo lag". That explains why at low RPM's, turbo chargers are inefficient. But new technology nowadays a has recovery systems to minimize or eliminate turbo lags...

Thank you bros. That was my understanding too. A 1.2 litre turbo engine to drive a big body does not seem right. Of course I hear newer low rev turbo. Wonder how to achieve power without involving more fuel? Once upon a time we increase piston size.

FC shootout.  QQ claims 17.9km/l, Vezel spec 20km/l. What is their real FC in SIN with drivers & aircon on?

For my ride (Vezel),  I average between 16km to 17km for 60/40 highway/city driving   [bounce2]

Turbocharged
(edited)

Main concern of Nissan vehicles is the exhorbitant maintenance cost.

Neutral Newbie

Nvr trust Nissan service centre. After 6 yrs ask me to change radiator due to leakage but went to workshop outside. The workshop check and found no problem. Have been driving the car with no problem till now (9 plus yrs). Also told me to change mounting, nvr change too. If they say air con leak, just go outside and top up your refrigerant if your air con is not cold for few tens of dollar. Monitor it and do you own sum. I always go to outside workshop to change any parts as Nissan changes are very high specially the manpower cost.
