Steering wheel issue

Anyone has ever experienced steering wheel has a wobbly feel when turning ? Like a loose belt like that. What could be the cause ? Where can repair ? Thanks.

How abt driving on the road? Does it sway for no apparent reason as well? If it does, do check your control arm bushings and tie rods.

 

If it doesn't act up during ddriving, only turning, check the steering wheel bearing, wear out liao.

is it very sudden when u feel like that? if so, mayb u've hit some hard object n likely to affect ur bush / control arm / tie rod n the likes?

 

anyway, try jack up each side of front wheel to check for any free play first by holding with ur hand to pull / push left right up down - if still tight, may b other issue in steering shaft components.

 

worst case scenario mayb ur drive shaft, but recon / oem one probably cost few hundred bucks for both sides.

It could the strut mounting from your front suspension. Might not be steering rack issue.
