thanks guys for the advise. damn sian is kana irresponsible driver hit and run, in the end i more troublesome than him, i heard hit n run the most demerit him 6 pts and fine a few hundred.. really so light meh?

today whole day wasted, run around workshop filing report here and there... was told by the chia pang that TP cfm sit on the case, bo chap cos no injury or death, must push him ... wth

If no injury most likely won't even get any demerit points or fine. Only helps with your insurance claim. Only from 1st Feb then it will be an offence not to leave a note with his particulars.

Haven't 1st Feb so I think the driver won't be charged under the new law for not leaving particulars.

With the video proof, TP will investigate and get the other party to submit his side of the story...actually no story since the video shows clearly he is at fault. Hit and run is still a 6 pointer plus fine unless both parties willing to settle privately since no one is injured.

Genius should keep receipts of repair and car rentals (f any) to claim the other party but then he already filed insurance claim so he already helped insurance company to go after the other party.

I think that demerit points and fine only if got injury. Normally for parked cars they are quite lenient. The last 2 drivers I encountered the TP also never charge them with anything. Only conclude that it is their fault.
