Nearly happened me when in NZ.... Their hot and cold water diff tap..... First time there Not sure how it work... Turn on the hot water.....nbzz ccb.... nearly kena cook alive.....

 

Happen to my tempered glass dining table.... Suddenly in the middle of the nite.... The whole farking piece just "exploded".... Broke into thousand of pieces.... From the on...... No more tempered glass dining table, coffee table etc...

Let's say, those vehicle panaroma roof top, if kena corner, wld it be logical to say that there is a high chance of it shattering thou this nvr happen bfore in Spore?

 

People have to understand that a there are some designs for cars are meant for temperate countries. Singapore is the last place that you need a green house effect in your car. And other than aesthetic, it does not make a lot of sense to have a piece of glass adding weight at the top of your car. There were some reports of these roofs shattering when the car goes over un-even roads in Russia. Iirc it was the Qashqai.

Many years back, an Aussie friend of mine was riding a scooter back to Brisbane with his younger brother seated behind him after visiting their Grandma at the Gold Coast.

 

Somewhere along the way a branch fall from a tree and landed right on top of my friend and killed him on the spot, his brother was left in shock but otherwise suffered only minor injuries.

 

Young chaps, not more than 20, both of them.

 

Sigh. Can only say, when time comes, it comes, and nothing can ever stop it from coming. Cherish every living moment we get to enjoy with our loved ones and never ever take anything for granted.

Yet, we have more and more glass buildings and railings. Wonder how strong/safe they are. I have seen some 'railings' in shopping malls with glass coming out from the floor and there's hardly any strong supporting beams to take the pressure off if someone would lean against it.

This is why i dont want to buy car with sunroof or moonroof

 

Dangerous especially in rollover. Moreover singapore so hot, its better without glass roof. Somehow wind noise also increase.

 

 

The only good thing that glass roof offer is to make cabin look more spacious and luxury
