Happy ppl don't complain much.

Unhappy ppl complain alot.

See alot of complaint online (whether is it coming from the same group of ppl) doesn't equate to many unhappy singaporean.

People who are content don’t have time to go online, those who are unhappy will complain online

Actually I found that it is how one reads things.

Sometimes people write about happy things in a happy way, but still unhappy people read it and see only the unhappy things. Unhappy people always turn the arguments to arrive at an unhappy conclusion. Happy people do likewise too and end up with a conclusion that is positive.

It's very much like how Batman and Joker deals with the same kind of environment, but in a totally different manner and orientation, being "dark reflections" of each other. Watch the video below (strongly recommended), with my favorite section quoted below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veU_sBuYmgU

"They are dark reflections of each other. They are both men who operate outside of normal social norms. They are both highly talented, highly gifted at what they do, so they have a lot in common.

Batman says philosophically, we can acknowledge an imperfect world, we have to step outside of social norms, but that doesn’t make the social norms meaningless. The joker says the presence of random injustice means that there is no justice. The fact that innocence can be destroyed means that there is no innocence, so your life is a joke. Now when someone says, your life is a joke, that’s a challenge; it’s not just a physical challenge, it’s a moral challenge, it’s an intellectual challenge, and Batman can’t let that go." Benjamin R. Karney

Lend a helping hand, whenever possible.

Some S'poreans waste 2 bowls of food per day -- while others search dumpsters for food

An equivalent of two bowls of food per person is thrown away every day, according to statistics.

But you can find people at the other end of the spectrum - such as a 60-year-old cardboard collector who wants to be known only as Madam Kwek.

She sifts through the discarded produce at the wet market at Lorong 1, Toa Payoh in the early mornings. The New Paper on Sunday found her peeping into the dumpsters.

She took a cursory glance into one of them and pulled out a red plastic bag of "tang oh" (garland chrysanthemum).

"Just wash it properly and it is edible," she tells this reporter.

At the stretch of vegetable stalls along Buffalo Road in Little India, people can be seen looking into the trash bins between 6pm and 8pm.

Says a vegetable seller from Sri Mullai Trading in Buffalo Road: "In the evening when we start to throw out vegetables, there will be some uncles and aunties waiting to take the stuff.

I wanna let off steam. There is one member here whom I remind him not to make sacarstic postings about low income people. People may not be successful or rich . They still deserve respect as a human. He say I have inferiority complex . Come on...i am just requesting that all humans, regardless of status in life, deserve at least the basic respect . Is that not correct ? Ok. Rant over. Thanks for reading

Unhappy and poor! Unhappy and poor! Unhappy and poor!

What BS is this? Stupid statements like this make me very angry.

Not everyone in SG is Unhappy and poor!

Just me and only after I got married and met my MIL!

Before marriage I was very happy and I wouldn't say rich but very comfortable and maybe even well to do.

So please don't make stupid statement as if everyone is SG is like that.

Please say clearly only jamesc is poor and unhappy!

:D
