Hmmm why take omega 3 if u are taking cod liver oil?

Isn't that the point of cod liver oil? Omega 3 is just a capsule and convenient and less yucky way of taking it.

Well my take is take either one is sufficient. But no harm to eat more i guess.

 

Hard truth, quiting smoking will improve your health much more than taking any supplement will. Cheers.

Popular Antioxidant Seems to Spread Skin Cancer Cells in Mouse Research

 

WEDNESDAY, Oct. 7, 2015 (HealthDay News) -- A man-made antioxidant appears to accelerate the spread of skin cancer in mice, raising questions about its safety in humans, researchers say.

 

The antioxidant, N-acetylcysteine, is used to relieve mucus production in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), said study senior author Martin Bergo, a professor at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden.

 

It also is used as a supplement by people who believe that the antioxidant can help reduce exercise-related muscle damage, burn fat and prevent fatigue, Bergo added.

 

But water laced with N-acetylcysteine appeared to speed up the spread of melanoma, the potentially deadly skin cancer, in lab mice, researchers found.

 

The antioxidant had no effect on the number and size of tumors, but it enhanced the migration and invasion of these tumors to other parts of the body, the research team reported Oct. 7 in the journal Science Translational Medicine.

I regularly go to the gym and have been gyming since my NS days. It's like a habit or more of an addiction nowadays.. 

 

Used to take plenty of supplements when i first started. Stuff like multi vitamins, glutamine, whey protein, vitamin c etc. you name it! I've tried em all!! 

 

Then over the years, i've discovered only one supplement works, increases in size and muscle definition tells it all while the rest of the supplements show little or no results. 

 

You guessed it - Whey Protein. 

 

I'm currently on two supplements of which i take daily - Vitamin C and Whey Protein. Both good for our skin as wel hehe.. 

 

Currently on -

TITAN Whey Protein by HNS Agym Nutrition, click the link to find --> Halal Whey Protein in Singapore (i personally go for Halal and Gluten-free whey protein for my post-workout shakes cos it's faster to shed and melt all the fats and at the same time, build more muscles.)

 

I have since stopped taking whey protein from USA countries as i saw in a documentary on how USA imports 90% of their supplement supplies from China. Dude.... no more cockroach milk protein for me..

Just be careful.

Don't overdo things.

Just be careful.

Don't overdo things.

Try to live without supplement, unless confirmed by medical report that we are deficient in certain vitamins.

And maybe omega 3, although there are reports they don't improve the risk of cardiac arrest.

I have been telling the wife this for years.

I take on alternative days only ..... see the pee so yellow yellow until scared as everything is going to Newater 🤪🤪
