For Duan Yu : He has the Liu Mai Shen Jian and Bei Ming Shen Gong. His internal power at the end is likely higher than Xiao Feng. At the start of the novel, he raced with Xiao Feng and it was hinted that his inner power was already comparable to Xiao Feng. After that, he absorbed much more inner power throughout the novel, including Jiumozhi who was also a powerhouse. For Xu Zhu : He inherited 100% of Wuyazi's inner force and the majority (cant remember if novel said 70% or 90% but it was around there) of Both Li Qiushui and Tong Lao. After that, he studied the murals in Ling Jiu Palace and the novel mentioned he further improved. That makes him crazy in the inner power department too. Xiao Feng, did not have such lucky breaks but he was a natural fighter. So even if his inner strength is lower, he might hold his own against the above 2 due to his natural fighting talent. The novel was quite lavish in the narrative praise of his fighting spirit and instinct. I am a regular at that spcnet.tv forum for years. So u are also wu ling zhong ren. In any case, his basics were from 少林内功 so that might be reason for a solid grounding… (think of the 扫地僧)... It was revised in the 3rd edition. The version taught to him by Wang Jiantong was 28 Palms. Around the time when he was fleeing Liao with Xu Zhu, he mentioned to Xu Zhu that some of the palms were not really necessary and taught a revised 18 Palms to Xu Zhu. Many years later, when the beggar sect found a worthy new leader, the leader sought out Xu Zhu to learn the 18 Dragon Palms from him. This was how after Xiao Feng's death, Hong Qigong and Guo Jing managed to learn the 18 Dragon Palms. This is an often overlooked fact. Xu Zhu also knew the 18 Dragon Palms. This is a good example of how the TV serials can be misleading. The fight on TV showed them fighting for some time and only when his maid gave him the idea to use the Shen Shi Fu did Xu Zhu subdue Ding. Although it was also in the novel that they fought for some time, the novel also mentioned : - Xu Zhu could have easily won - Xu Zhu was worried about Ding's poisons, and also due to his nature did not want to kill, thus the fight was prolonged - Due to his immense inner force, Xu Zhu was actually immune to all of Ding's poison but did not know it - Ding did not attempt to use poison on Xu Zhu because he was afraid Xu Zhu after receiving the Xiao Yao leadership, would actually know even more about poisons then Ding himself See, so many little info the TV serials always never mention. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was decided the 'Tung Xei', 'Yi Tern Ta Shi' remains, Yang Kuo took over as 'Si Tu' and Chou Po Tong represent 'Chuan Zhen' (in the centre) and Kuo Zhing as 'Pei Kai' as he also the pupil of 'Hong Chi Kong' .... He married his two sister and behave like a real emperor with 2 wives. Wang go and be with mu rong fu.
