When eating a traditional Japanese meal, it dawned on me to remember there are people working hard in the back of the kitchen to wash and clean up all the bowls, cups, holders, plates, utensils, etc (which can be many in a Japanese meal!).  

 

A salute to all the unseen back-end kitchen staff slogging hard (and doing a back-breaking task) to make our meals a pleasant and enjoyable experience!

Home made mashed potatoes. Wanted to make rosti but my grater isn't coarse enough or have to try brastagi potatoes. Russets are too starchy

used to like the place before the renovation a year ago, they change the menu and pricing after that. went back once but no more going back.

Fish and Co at Waterway point.

Bring back memories. Ate this often during University days when going out. Still one of their better dishes after their fish and chips standard dropped.
