why you have bak kut teh in japan? [laugh]

I had Kaibi Don that cost ¥1500 and wifey had Yakuzen Soup that cost only ¥900 :)

Thought Tai Wah BCM only at Hong Lim FC. Nvr thought, Lavendar also got.

 

yeah, I go to the one at Hong Lim too ... previously located at Bestway Building.

 

did not know about the Crawford one.

Think we r referring to two different BCM. d one at Crawford Lane is spell as Tai Hwa and one I am referring is Tai Wah Pork Noodle at 2nd storey Hong Lim FC. Is also popular and I have eaten few times. I google and seems tat they r relatives. Looks like d style of preparation is rather similar. One of these days I will try d Crawford Lane one.

Usually at Hong Lim I go for ah Kow BCM. I find it better.

 

Between the 2 tai wah. The Crawford lane one is much much better. Soup is more robust. The vinegar is power. And the dumpling has much more of the ti poh. Which gives it a huge Unami boost and stands it apart from the other competitors

Very healthy meal, if the soup is clear soup, would be even healthier :)

 

your metabolism rate must be super high...always hungry de :D

The old always say, hard working ppl, must always eat more. Haha

yeah, now new one taken over ... looks a bit quiet ... yet to try myself.

Had fried rice for lunch. First time tried it. Looks and taste different from the usual style of fried rice. This one more towards home cooked type. Eat finished liao, still hungry so got two mee jian kuek, one peanut filling another red bean filling.
